I came to Cox 2 years ago and left with a 2015 Chevy sonic. I loved my little red sonic but being a single mother of 2 growing boys, I needed bigger. I initially came there to get my tire looked at and a gentleman by the name of Q Gordon approached me and asked if there was anything he could help me with. I asked him out of curiosity if he thought I could get a bigger car and my payment be about the same as the sonic. I had no big amount of money to put down and really didn't want a higher payment. He took some info from me and said he's going to see what he can do so I left and went to work and came back to pick up my sonic when it was finished and drove around back to sales and asked Q so where'd we get and he told me about a 2017 Chevy equinox that was called a hand tag special and I said ok. There was 3 other people besides new looking and wanting that. Oscar Acosta the new car sales manager said does she want it and I said yes and so he told another gentleman by the name of Anthony Hockett to guide Q to get this deal done for me because he wants me to have it, especially new being a returning customer. After careful consideration I was down in finance with Adam Borgia and he was telling me the ins and outs and I was signing. I GOT THE 2017 CHEVY EQUINOX with no money down with the trade of my sonic which had damages mind you. I left estatic and scared at the same time. It was a little higher than what I had anticipated but it was no money down and my sonic had me upside down still a little. It was going to give me the motivation I needed to grind harder because I wanted this for my babies and me. Mr. Anthony called me this morning to tell me they had great news and I needed to come resign my new paperwork because they got a better deal. It all started with a hello from Q Gordon and a little team work with him and Anthony then ended up with me crying and begging this team of 4 phenomenal men what can I possibly do to show my gratitude! I am beyond grateful and so appreciative of Mr. Q Gordon(sales), Mr. Athony Hockett(sales), Mr. Oscar Acosta(new sales manager), and Mr. Adam Borgia (finance)! You guys are amazing. Overall experience AWESOME! Many individuals "DREAD" going to a car dealership to buy a car. I know I did prior to visiting Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton. I would go over the rule Many individuals "DREAD" going to a car dealership to buy a car. I know I did prior to visiting Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton. I would go over the rules with my husband in the car prior to pulling into the car lot. We are just looking, keep quiet about about prices, don't make any commitments etc. I hear a lot of people say "customer service " is a thing of the past. I can without out a doubt state that this is not true from Cox. This is my 2nd car purchased here and I am 125% satisfied. We were handled professionally, and not pressured AT ALL. The sales manager (Oscar) is always available to his customers and always very helpful and informative with a great sense of humor. As most of us experience most sales manager's in dealerships hide behind closed doors to make the deals. They are heard but never seen. NOT Oscar, he is always seen greeting every customer and he always demonstrates the utmost respect for us and others around us. Derek Besemer/Tim Deemer the sales persons who handled us were so friendly that we could honestly say they are like family members. No pressure at all. They know their vehicles inside and out. They were very informative and the overall experience was excellent. This is why I keep going back. If you want this type of experience I highly recommend you go to Cox. Additionally, last but not least the finance man behind the doors "Adam Borgia" was very professional and we (again) were not pressured at all. He is a wiz at going over the paperwork, professional and very detailed about giving us options in order to protect our investment. I have to add I'm not bored when he goes through the contracts. He is upbeat and positive and not your typical "reviewing the contract" in a monotone voice, where you just want to get out of there. From walking into the door to getting into the new vehicle and driving home is an experience that will have be going back in a few years! Thanks to all at Cox! More
Best dealership in Florida I was on the market for a new Tahoe for over 3 months and wanted to trade in my BMW which was upside down in payments. I went to Ferman Chevy, Dimmitt I was on the market for a new Tahoe for over 3 months and wanted to trade in my BMW which was upside down in payments. I went to Ferman Chevy, Dimmitt Chevy, Carmax, Ferman BMW, all of whom ran my credit report and could not get me the deal I was hoping for. I finally met John Taylor over an hour away from where I live and he got me the Tahoe with all the specs I asked for, a competitive price for my trade, and he kept me within the monthly car payment he initially quoted me. All of this was done over the phone and over the course of a week before I even picked up my new car. The service here is amazing and JT is a gem. More

They will not help you if you have an issue with the purchase of any of their cars. They claim to change the oil, but they don't, they claim to check out everything in your car and they don't! Pedro and Daniel are a joke as salesmen, they know nothing about customer satisfaction, they are there to make a quick buck, even if it means to lie and cheat there way to the top! More

Upon leaving for home with new car I noticed fuel gauge had stopped working. I was told to take it across street to Cox chevy and let service look at it. Was determined a fuel level sensor in tank was bad and would cost me $1700.00. I complained by saying I didn't even get off the lot and it was working fine on test drive. Cox Mazda said since I didn't purchase the extended warranty I had to pay for repairs or come back over and purchase warranty and then they would fix car. I said I was coming back over to get my trade in back. Per cooling off period the service writer Eric wiehl told me to wait he wanted to check up the ladder to see what could be done as he didn't want me leaving a dissatisfied customer. He came back to me giving me a rental car to get home had my car fixed with no out of pocket expense. Because of Erick wiehl at Cox chevy service dept. Did not honor warranty contract Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro in November 2013. In the past six months, the check engine light and air bag warning sensor indicated malfunction. Today, I sent my seventy-year old mother in to authorize a radiator flush and fill. She authorized just that. Two hours later, I was told that the passenger seat air bag sensor and another valve needed replaced but the warranty was only valid for 2 years or 24 thousand miles, and that I needed to have $2,000 worth of work done. I told the service manager to just do the radiator flush and fill and I would look at the warranty paper work and get back to him. An hour later, my mother picked up the car and I was charged $182 for flush and fill and $258 for "diagnostic charges". I came home and looked at the warranty contact, which stated "N/A" for both years and mileage and it covered all diagnostic charges as well as all sensors. I'm very disappointed that the service manager did not return my call and that I paid $1,800 for a worthless warranty contact. More
Totally disappointed Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their way of 'making it right' was negotiating a fair insurance settlement and expect Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their way of 'making it right' was negotiating a fair insurance settlement and expecting us to finance a vehicle through them. Managers did not have time to deal with us. It was insulting. Their reputation wasn't worth them not making money on a return customer, a loyal Chevy customer after they created a circumstance where we needed a "new"vehicle". More
