He watches out for deals for me when needing parts and service but doesn't oversell things I don't need. He has made sure my experience there is always to my satisfaction. Others in the service department like the young girls that run and get the cars and move them around very pleasant and courteous. While waiting in our car for Matt to come out to check our car, it seemed to take a bit extra time due to an issue Matt was dealing with with another customer so one of the girls seeing us waiting ran and got my husband and I each a bottle of water to keep us comfortable. Nice service even without asking. More

Having Car Dealership experience myself, I can tell you this dealership is successful because of its people! Everyone we've dealt with has been all about the customer experience! Unfortunately, we've needed to use the Body shop at Cox Chevy a few times over the past 3 yrs., and they bend over backwards to make the customer happy! The Body Shop Manager, Mr. Tom Gillespie always has the customers best interest in mind, and gives stellar customer service...a gem to work with. I am a retired General Motors employee so I knew what discounts I would be entitled to. I live in Venice and drove to Bradenton to check it out. I was warmly greeted and the General Manager set me up with one of his sales associates. Mr. Tim Deemer spent quality time with me to figure out what my needs were before taking me to the lot. He showed me the board in the showroom to familiarize me with different options on each vehicle which helped me decide what was important to me. He drove me to the lot and we looked at several vehicles before I decided what I wanted. The vehicle I was interested in didn't have leather seats and that was really what I wanted. I ended up with the Equinox Premier and absolutely love it. I will definitely return to Cox Chevrolet for my next lease. More

OUTSTANDING!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Kudo's and a thank you to Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Florida. I cannot say enough to thank Mr. Joe MacDonald, Parts and Service Director, and Mr. Kudo's and a thank you to Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Florida. I cannot say enough to thank Mr. Joe MacDonald, Parts and Service Director, and Mr. Roberto Alonso, Service Manager. I went to Cox Chevrolet after having my transmission replaced at a Service Station. The Service Station where I had my transmission replaced was near-by to where the vehicle broke down and was certified and referred to me by AAA. Before beginning work to replace the transmission I inquired at this Service Station if this work and replacement transmission would still be under a warranty. The Service Station said "No" and thus with no other options, and in "Good Faith" that this was not covered under a warranty, I had them replace the transmission with a new transmission from the chevy dealership. After completing the work at the service station, I paid them and then drove to a chevy dealership to inquire about the warranty on the damaged transmission. The chevy dealership found that the damaged transmission was still under warranty. Extremely frustrated and angry, I returned to the service station and then to Cox Chevrolet. I spent time with Mr. Alonso discussing the details of what happened to my vehicle. I requested from Mr. Roberto Alonso and Cox Chevrolet a refund of what I just paid to replace my transmission - which was still under warranty. Mr. Alonso listened intently and assured me that he would make every effort to go through the proper channels to get a refund to me. Approximately 2 weeks after I submitted my requests I had received my refund. Once again, I want to thank Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Alonso. I personally want to thank Mr. Roberto Alonso for his time and effort in this very important matter for me. It is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. He was outstanding in representing General Motors and Cox Chevrolet. His professionalism and the integrity shown by General Motors and Mr. Joe MacDonald of Cox Chevrolet regarding the warranty and refund, as I said before, will not be forgotten. In the future I plan on purchasing another Chevrolet as a direct result of how this situation was handled by Cox Chevrolet and the outstanding service I received from Mr. Roberto Alonso. More

Feel Like a Family Member I purchased my new Corvette C7 Torch Red roadster on April 19, 2015 from the Cox family in Bradenton, Florida. From walking the showroom and admiring I purchased my new Corvette C7 Torch Red roadster on April 19, 2015 from the Cox family in Bradenton, Florida. From walking the showroom and admiring the car until the next morning at acquisition, the sales personnel at Cox exuded a calm honest manner with me. Helping me to experience the ultimate satisfaction of my purchase decision. I had informed the sales representative, Eduardo Palacios, the evening prior that one condition of sale was "the ability for me to enter and exit the car in an easy manner, and that I could actually enjoy driving the car." When Eduardo insisted that I allow him to have the car extracted from the sales floor and allow me to drive the car, I balked and told him that would not be necessary, I was ready to complete the transaction. Eduardo told me that unless I drove the car and found these conditions to be satisfactory, he would not complete the sale. Eduardo insisted that I drive, but I became the passenger for the drive to the fueling facility. After filling the tank, he left me no choice but to drive, since he advised that he would walk back to the dealer or something similar. The remainder is history. The reason for this rating of the dealer would not be complete without my accolades for Matthew French, my service advisor and the Cox Family Service Manager, Roberto Alonzo. I could utilize a service location twelve miles closer to my home; however, again these two individuals have maintained my family membership at Cox Chevrolet. I have endured a few highly unusual incidents with the beautiful motor vehicle and The Cox team has worked diligently to save me literally thousands of dollars on replacement items, parts failing for no apparent reason and the Chevrolet Division determining that the failed components were not a factory defect and not covered under the warranty. My service team ensured that I would not be liable for the replacement expense, challenging the builder of the car in my favor. Thank you Matt and Roberto and the Cox Family. More
