Ron Potts is the ONLY person I will purchase a car from. In the short amount of time I have been legally able to purchase (and finance) a vehicle on my own, I have personally purchased 6 of the 7 cars I have In the short amount of time I have been legally able to purchase (and finance) a vehicle on my own, I have personally purchased 6 of the 7 cars I have owned from Ron Potts. The one car I DID NOT purchase from him was a nightmare of deferred maintenance and unethical sales practices and Ron was the first person I went to for help and he did not disappoint. In addition to my personal 6 purchases from him, my family has purchased over 2 dozen cars from him over the last 2 decades and if that kind of commitment does not support the quality of Ron’s salesmanship, honesty and professionalism than I don’t know what would. My last purchase from Ron (just over a week ago) was slightly unexpected (but you don’t purchase 7 different cars in 7 years by being predictable) as Ron just happened to be at the dealership when I was dropping my vehicle off for maintenance. My car was getting high in mileage and the warranty was about to expire in addition to needing something larger so when I saw Ron I immediately began harrasing him about what cars he had on his lot and what we could do with what I had to work with. 3 days and countless hours later (mind you he was supposed to be off all three of those days) I was driving home in my new car and I could not have been happier. On day 2 I was sitting in his office about to sign the paperwork and I suddenly felt anxious and unsure of my decision and Ron looked at me and told me to go home because he didn’t want me to buy it if I was not 100% sure and said he could hold it for me for another day for me to think it over. 3 hours later I was positive it’s what I wanted to do so he came in on day three (his last day off) and had the car detailed, filled up with gas and waiting for me in the parking lot when I arrived after work to sign the paperwork. The fact that at no point did I feel pressured to make a decision made it SO much easier to make the decision. Ron is truly one of the most considerate, honest and caring people i have had the pleasure to know and buying from anyone but him would be a mistake (as I learned myself). More

2016 Colorado has bad torque converter bought the truck new from them which was fairly decent but they wanted to add all kind of road hazard "stuff" to my deal, Took the truck in for regul bought the truck new from them which was fairly decent but they wanted to add all kind of road hazard "stuff" to my deal, Took the truck in for regular warranty servicing and complained about a shuttering when going from 3-4th gear, they said 3 times they could not find it, then they said I needed to leave it overnight so I would have had to take time from work to do all this. Got a second opinion from another chevy dealership in Sarasota, they knew right away what it was and I am in process of getting it fixed after the first appt. at the new dealership. Good Riddens Cox chevy, I'll NEVER go back there.. More

I highly recommend asking for Ron if you are looking to buy a new Corvette. He knows every little detail about them and can demonstrate how to use every gadget in them. I know this, because Ron spent 3 hours with us, coming in on his off day, to show how to work the interior components.
