Surprisingly easy and pleasant experience I've purchased new Toyotas in the DFW area twice before, and both experiences were verry bad. The first time (2002), I was a victim of the typical ca I've purchased new Toyotas in the DFW area twice before, and both experiences were verry bad. The first time (2002), I was a victim of the typical car sales process, and gave the dealer a 25% profit margin on the deal. The second time (2007) I was a better educated buyer, and got a great price - but it took over 40 hours of "playing the game" with a floor salesman. This time I promised myself that I'd know what a fair price (well under MSRP, and a small profit margin for the dealer)for the vehicle would be, and not step foot on the dealership before I had a price locked down. I sent out internet requests through multiple methods, and was contacted by several dealerships. Most were not straightforward in answering my questions, and wanted to play the numbers game. Karen contacted me through my Costco request for pricing, and unlike all the other internet managers I spoke with, she was upfront, quick to respond, patient with my indecision on which vehicle I wanted. Over the course of a week I went back and forth with her on what color and options I wanted - each time she quickly responded with a vehicle, delivery date and price. I had decided I was going to delay purchase of a new 2014 4Runner until I sold my 1999 model. Karen offered to have a site-unseen appraisal done in case I wanted to just trade it in when I had an unexpected offer to purchase it from a private buyer. After all the back and forths on my part, I sent yet another request to Karen, because I now had to move FAST to get a new car. She found one in stock that had most of the options I wanted, and sent me another FAIR price! I went into the dealership for a test drive of THAT car - already prepped for delivery, signed the paperwork, and Karen asked if her finance department could make me an offer to finance at the dealer (I already had outside financing arranged). They managed to find me a better rate - so I switched! THE WHOLE PROCESS AT THE DEALER WAS ONLY 2.5 HOURS!!! I couldn't have been happier - I've NEVER been in and out of a dealer that fast, and without headache or any game playing. I'm sure I'll be back to see Karen when it's time to buy my next Toyota! More

When James from Cowboy Toyota called me i informed him of my budget so as no I requested a quote from various dealerships and received many responses. I went over to the dealership and negotiated for a while with James (at no stage i was rushed to make a decision or buy the car) and ended up getting a great deal on the vehicle and financing at a great rate! Very impressed with Karen & Cowboy Toyota! We went with the Costco program and was put into contact with Karen. What can I say....I have been blown away by Karen. She was not pushy as most of the car salespeople I have worked with in my 20+ years of purchasing cars. Before going to the dealership, Karen and I spoke and texted about the vehicle that we were interested in. She took time out of her day, to go out to the truck on the lot that we were looking at to inspect it herself as it was a used vehicle and it had just arrived on the lot a few days earlier. Karen is super nice and friendly. She did not rush us one bit, nor pressure us into anything. She was very respectful of my budget concerns. My husband and I decided to get the truck, and I was uneasy about the financing. We have some credit challenges, and Karen assured me that the finance department would help us out. That is where we met Felanna, the finance manager. We told her upfront that we were not interested in a warranty. We wanted this to be quick and easy. And she delivered. She was able to get us a fair interest rate. We walked out of Cowboy Toyota with a new to us Toyota truck, and we did not feel like we were raked over the coals. We got a great deal and were given excellent customer service from Karen and Felanna. More on Karen....she was able to get some paint and dents repaired for us. (this is being done as I write this) I had to leave the truck at the dealership, and she was able to get me a loaner car.....a brand new Camry......look out Karen, we might be back getting a new car from you :) Cowboy Toyota, Karen and Felanna have made me change my mind about purchasing a vehicle from a dealership.
