I thought my car was on fire when I got it back I took my car in to have the catalytic converter recall done and it took until about 4:30 pm before they called me. My mother and had an errand to run I took my car in to have the catalytic converter recall done and it took until about 4:30 pm before they called me. My mother and had an errand to run on the way home and my mother told me before we got into the parking lot that I need to pull over because of the smell my car smelled like it was burning( she has been in burning cars before). My car smelled like it was on fire and it was smoking from under the hood. I had to go to the parking lot and park with a car that we both thought was on fire. When I called cowboy dodge and was told they would wait for me to bring my car back so we bought some water and carefully drove back. When we got there they had me pull my car into the service department only to shine a flashlight in the engine bay of my car and show me the smoke coming from the catalytic converter. They told me that they tried to remove the labels but must not have done very well. If they had warned me that my car was burning the labels off of the catalytic converter I wouldn't have been happy but it could have prevented a lot of stress on me and my mother. Instead but they told me things like, "have a nice day" knowing that my car was going to smell bad and smoke. It wasn't a good experience, and I would not recommend Cowboy Dodge for this reason. Paid For Unneeded Service "Fixed" an issue that wasn't the issue and didn't need fixing. We'll see if a water problem comes back. Additionally, I literally saw my vehicle sitting in the back of your lot for a solid 2 hours before I showed up to ask again, if it was completed, and even then, after all the crap of me having to call and get updates, false information coming from “service reps”, and having to provide all the paperwork for the warranty itself, you would assume that the least your department could do was wash the xxxx thing, and remove you technicians dirty xxxxing hand prints from the interior. Seriously the worst dealership I have ever been to. Dodge would be smart to remove their name from this establishment. More
