Once I got on site to pickup the vehicle after a 4 hour drive, they stated they sold the truck. Josh Parker General Sales Manager would not honor our agreement and lied that the truck was actually sold. It was relisted for a higher price and they were still taking inquiries and telling customers it was available the next day. We have contacted the General Manager Stephen Hamilton and received no reply. It seems they simply do not care. DO NOT TRUST COVERT FORD More
I brought my truck in almost three weeks ago they said they would be in contact about the plan on how to fix it, received two calls with what’s wrong with it and haven’t received a call back regarding the they would be in contact about the plan on how to fix it, received two calls with what’s wrong with it and haven’t received a call back regarding the timeline and like they said they would. They proceeded to tell us that in order to figure out one of them, they would have to take the dash off and see if our warranty would cover it. If they didn’t the labor alone would be 2K. NEVER received call notifying us if warranty covered it or if we need to pay out of pocket weve call so many time and everytime we get a sent to message and told we’ll receive a call back but never happens! Brought my 2020 F150 in to have electric door locks repaired. I have the "Premium Care Extended Service Plan" (100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper coverage). Ford arranged for a rental (part of the warranty repaired. I have the "Premium Care Extended Service Plan" (100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper coverage). Ford arranged for a rental (part of the warranty coverage) which was fine. When I picked my vehicle up, I was informed that the 'door lock actuator was unplugged' and that because there was nothing actually wrong with the actuator, the service of re-connecting the wire was not covered under warranty. Ford wanted to charge me $180 for an hour of diagnostics and refused to cover the cost of the rental car; another $182. I managed to get the diagnostic fee reduced to the $100 deductible on my warranty. Brittany Workman (Service Manager) insisted that electrical connections can simply fail from time to time. Wow! When I purchased the truck and the warranty I was told the warranty would 'remove all uncertainty with respect to the cost of ownership'. I guess that only applies when system failure is the result of something actually breaking. When a system fails, but there are no defective parts (how does that happen?) you're out of luck. I did check with the Business Manager at MacHaik Ford in Georgetown, Gabriel Baer after the fact. Gabriel informed me that I should absolutely be covered in this circumstance. At this point, I'm working through Ford Consumer Care, have an assigned case, and am expecting reimbursement for the rental. So much trouble!! More

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to see if they had any used Suburbans. They had only one but I liked it so we test drove it. Tried to make a deal on it but the mileage was too high for the bank to pic any used Suburbans. They had only one but I liked it so we test drove it. Tried to make a deal on it but the mileage was too high for the bank to pick up the note so we were shown (pics on a phone) one that was a year older but mileage was low. It was getting late so we agreed to come back the next day (Monday). They couldn't find the Suburban, turns out it was out on loan & they had to get it back. That took half the day. They were working the deal & we hadn't even seen or driven the vehicle. The salesman that was helping our salesman presented us a "We Owe" & when questioning him since we hadn't even test drove yet he stated "trust me, there's nothing wrong with it". That was our mistake. Shortly after that the finance guy calls us back to do the paperwork. WE HADN'T EVEN TESTED DROVE IT, YET! We were still waiting for them to get it back from whomever they loaned it to. Eventually we got to drive it. It's very nice drives well, has low mileage & every bell & whistle so we say yes to the deal. Do all the paperwork & now it's ours. It's now closing time for Service. They still want to do a safety check, change oil, etc. so we are asked to come back the next morning with the promise it would be first in line due to the SOLD sign. Oh, I had a trade in & since they are so fast with the paperwork it is now a loaner which gets loaned to us until the "new" one is ready. We show up the next morning about 11:00 & they still haven't gotten it ready. We left to do errands & called about 2 & we are told it wouldn't be ready until Friday or Monday!!! This is on a Tuesday! We went back to dealership & I spoke with the General Sales Mgr. He straightened it out & we got the car finally. On the way home we notice an intermittent vibration that wasn't there when we test drove it. Go back a couple days later (when I have the time) & Salesman Helper says it's our problem now. This is the 4th vehicle we have bought from Covert Hutto but you can bet it will be the last. Service after the sale has always been poor. Caziel was our original salesman & he is awesome but still learning the job. Ruben was helping him. More
The dealership has a large selection of ready to go vehicles and it is very organized and easy to navigate. If you want to get a completely different price that what is listed online, then this is your dealership. We read online a specific stock number for a vehicle at a defined price, but when we showed up after is listed online, then this is your dealership. We read online a specific stock number for a vehicle at a defined price, but when we showed up after being hassled by the sales staff, not only was the vehicle sold which had multiple deals on it, the vehicle was also priced $12,000 higher which included a protection package worth almost $3500! When the staff explained to us that their is a market ramp up on certain vehicles, I explained that listing a price on the internet that is completely different than the actual price is unethical. Regardless of the market. I was quoted, “Well, we can’t change that.” Getting people to come into dealership based on online pricing, and then tricking them into another price is totally unfair. Additionally, we were completely low-balled on our trades, which I figured would happen regardless of the price. Furthermore, the staff was trying to sell us a vehicle that wouldn’t exist for 3 months. Completely Absurd. Lastly, I really didn’t appreciate being spoken to as if this was my first car buying experience. I know the senseless nonsense game of dealerships trying to make the most money from a deal, but Covert is the worse one I’ve seen yet, even comparing to dealerships In Killeen, Tx, where those dealerships take advantage of Soldiers. I gave Covert my first and last chance. I will never return here, and will personally persuade anyone who thinks of going there to change their minds. I hope this helps someone from being taken advantage of. More
