Most unprofessional business in Texas ! This has been by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with. Truck has been in their service for over two weeks and every time we call to check o This has been by far the worst experience I have ever dealt with. Truck has been in their service for over two weeks and every time we call to check on it we are told a different story. They don't deliver on a follow up call and don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. There is never given a clear explanation of the status of the truck repair and every time we call we get a new date for truck repair being done. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for honest genuine service. More

Worst Chevy service I've ever experienced If there was an option to put 0 stars I would have. I had a commercial truck go down in their area and it was towed into the dealership. EJ in servi If there was an option to put 0 stars I would have. I had a commercial truck go down in their area and it was towed into the dealership. EJ in service took days to respond to voicemails. When I finally got a hold of EJ he told me the driveshaft bolts were missing and wanted to know how I was going to pay for them to be replaced. The drive shaft bolts were removed by the towing company to properly tow the vehicle. They did not even touch the vehicle for almost a week because of the drive shaft bolts. After I explained to them that the they we removed by the towing company and EJ finally got to work. Again I had to call the dealership for days to get a response. EJ explained to me that it was a bad battery and that he had to order one and it would be done in the morning. I asked EJ to give me a call when it was ready. The next day I had to call EJ again and this was about 4:00 in the afternoon. He then explained to me that it was a bad alternator and that they were working on it and it would be ready in the morning. I sent my driver there the next morning only to find out they had not completed the work. I then called the GM and owner Chance Covert to explain the situation. Chance told me that "that is just the way it is in Austin Texas" and that I was lucky it didn't take 3-4 weeks to replace an alternator. I explained to him that I have dealt with a lot of GM dealers in the past and that this is unacceptable. His exact words were "good luck buddy" as he hung up the phone on me. I will be filing a complaint to General Motors and would highly discourage anyone from doing business with these people. More

They lie, replace things without your knowledge Okay let's start from the beginning. I took my car in because I kept hearing wind/whistle noise coming from my driver side door on my new 17 Cruze RS Okay let's start from the beginning. When they return it I didn't notice the small window was replaced ( I work overnight and didn't see it) I drove to dealership and Jim handled it. Still I can hear wind/whistle noise. So he promised me he would order the 2nd part and call me when it came in. This was way before Christmas. That part came in December 19. Here I am calling on January 10 because no one notified me. All Jim can say is I don't know when parts come in....funny your the manager of service. Shouldn't you know everything that happens in your shop? Plus he had no idea that part of the weather stripping includes a new window. So now all he can say is he has to schedule it and call me back. I wonder how long this is going to take. He asked me before to remove my first bad review on the promise that he would take care of the car. He lied and here I am calling them about this part. Get it together covert Bastrop and Jim!!!! Now I'm waiting to see who contacts me asking me to remove this post!!!! I'm so done with covert!! I'll never buy from this company again and neither will my family because of the issues. More

Not recommended Had vehicle fixed at service department, in less than one month broke down with exact same problems and after two days of keeping my vehicle was told Had vehicle fixed at service department, in less than one month broke down with exact same problems and after two days of keeping my vehicle was told it would be another two days and was told it was not related and not covered and had to pay for new diagnosis. Had vehicle towed from Covert to Bastrop Tire and had it fixed for half the price in a couple of hours. "Mickey" was rude and not customer friendly. Will not be coming back to Covert anymore and will be spreading the word of my experience at Covert to all of my customers as well. More
First time buyer with %20 down( deal did'nt go through My salesmen Ben was a salesman as expected however the financing manager Tim came off as extremely shady and sarcastic. He asked for %50 down. Given that I have no credit I was'nt surprised but the irritating thing is they knew I had no credit and no co-signer from the get go but a reasonable down payment. Of course they pulled my credit wich does'nt help me at all, I know they have to but they said they would help me estimate my monthly payments and stuff before submitting it. The vehicle was'nt even ready even after the listing was up for weeks so I had to come back the next day. There reasoning was they needed to re-program the key FOB, something I've done in 5mins or less with the same model truck. They got ahold of me and said they had the actual key and that I could test drive it(next day) I drove the truck and it was making noises and really ruff, Ben said it was the mud tires... I drive a lifted truck with mud tires and it does'nt shake nearly as violent as there's did. Tried moving to a cheaper vehicle that one was already 26k and they still did'nt approve but I'm very thankful it did'nt because the guys at Covert are shady. No negotiating price, Ben said in their computers the truck was 30k and the internet website was 26k so it was already 4k underpriced and they could'nt go lower (biggest xx I've ever heard in my life) the blue book value of a 2013 chevy silverado z71 with 80k miles on it and other wear and tear is not 30k, wow. They went as far as saying that pulling my credit multiple times in a two week timeframe would'nt hurt my credit at all. (Tim said that) Smh. On top of that Ben sent me pictures the first day of the interior of the pick up, I'm pretty xxxx sure that they don't leave there trucks unlocked overnight with no key. Maybe if he had the FOB keyless entry and not the key but I don't buy their story just does'nt add up. Bottom line is if your a first time car buyer go to Sames in Bastrop or anybody else because the salesman at Covert are not your friends. More
