The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Bad Start - good finish Salesman (Dale Appleby) I contacted, first on email, then by phone, promised 1) he would be there-on a Sunday 2) car was still available or if not ple Salesman (Dale Appleby) I contacted, first on email, then by phone, promised 1) he would be there-on a Sunday 2) car was still available or if not please contact me. He wasn't there and neither was the vehicle. Normally I would have walked away, however I was introduced to a young (new) salesman, Daniel Morgan -- who I liked right away. Daniel did a great job of finding us another vehicle, letting us take a long test drive and answered all our questions. The vehicle sold us but Daniel made the purchase enjoyable - Great job Daniel. Jason in the finance department was another great guy, even helping us get our refund from DMV for our license plate -- we didn't ask he just said he would be glad to do it for us - Thanks Jason. I cant believe it I had a very disturbing experience a couple of saturdays ago when I droppped my vehicle off at the dealer for what I had hoped would be a simple repai I had a very disturbing experience a couple of saturdays ago when I droppped my vehicle off at the dealer for what I had hoped would be a simple repair and return but it ended up going south and nothing but a waste of my time was accomplished. Frustrated about the Service and attention I received I filled out the survey that the dealer sent me and expected it to end up in the round file otherwise none as the garbage. I got an unexpected call a few days later from Armand. The service manager what an breathe of fresh. Air this guy. Really. Understands the concept customer service maybe even Wrote the BOOK he clearly went above and beyond from the initial phone contact to the completion of the work that needed to be done.
