Courtesy Toyota: Synonymous with Exemplary Service Assistant Service Manager James Kim provided exemplary advice, help and service in trying to decide if a 2006 Toyota Highlander with 120k miles was Assistant Service Manager James Kim provided exemplary advice, help and service in trying to decide if a 2006 Toyota Highlander with 120k miles was worth throwing almost $4500 at it. It was. And repairs made. The list of problems identified along with the itemized cost of each aided me greatly in reaching that decision. Repairs by the mechanic were performed professionally and efficiently. Beautiful service area, by the way. Now, the Highlander has a second life. While this OLD Toyota was being repaired, James provided a rental. Not to mention cleaning the SUV after service. Upon leaving the dealer after repairs were performed; the engine, VSC and traction control lights came on again after driving only about 20 miles. A failure completely unrelated to the repairs performed. It frightened me. Had I just made a very expensive mistake? Yet, he worked with me again to make the SUV “right”. Far and above what one could reasonably expect given the age of the vehicle. The cost of repairs? A bit pricey. But one gets what one pays for. And no complaints here, especially with a 1 yr, 12k mile warranty on all work performed. I simply can’t be more pleased and impressed. And have already referred 2 other Toyota owners to James for service. What a find. A dealer who values their clients, provides service managers leeway to work with them, and hires high caliber people. James is special. And courteous. I thank management for letting him shine.
