On a recent trip out of town, we were about 60 miles away when the transmission on our 2009 Nissan Cube began to surge. We had it towed to the dealer, Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, which checked it and found nothing wrong. The dealer instead flushed the transmission, charging us $400, saying that might work. Two weeks later, again we were 60 miles away on the interstate when the transmission again surged. We again had it towed to Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, which again said it could find nothing wrong. We have discovered that Nissan has extended the warranty on the transmission in the 2009-10 Cubes because of this very problem. Courtesy Nissan said it would not replace the faulty transmission under the warranty because their diagnostics showed nothing wrong. We suggested the service department replicate the problem, that being driving the car at high speed for about an hour. They refused, saying they could not cut someone loose to do that. Instead, they drove the vehicle a few miles around town, which resulted, predictably in no problem with the transmission. We called the customer service department in Franklin, Tenn. which called Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa urging it to honor the warranty, which the dealer refused and continues to refuse. Now we're stuck with a Cube that we can't drive for more than an hour before it strands us on the interstate, endangering our lives and the lives of others because the vehicle malfunctions. The Cube has 77,000 miles on it; the warranty on the transmission is up to 120,000 miles. Also when we called the dealer for the second time, they refused to pay for towing to their shop, saying the Cube was 5,000 miles over the limit for a free tow. All we're asking is they Courtesy Nissan on Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa honor the manufacturer's warranty on this faulty and dangerous transmission. More

I went to the dealership clueless, didn't know the first thing about purchasing a vehile or the kind of vehicle I needed and let me tell you I left there well know informed, exited and very pleased. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE HERE AGAIN! DO NOT GIVE THESE CROOKS YOUR MONEY!!! The ONLY reason they got one star is because I couldn't give ZERO STARS!! They sold me a brand new car that they knew had problems. I called the sales person as soon as we drove the car off the lot and told him about the issues. They claimed they would fix it and have been trying for 4 months. We have had this car at the dealership 6 times, three rental cars when we had to leave it all in four months. DON'T waste your money here unless you have lots of free time to keep bringing it back in, all I want is for my car to work properly but they don't seem to care... They just keep sending me over to NISSAN manufacturer and don't want to trade out this brand new vehicle so i am STUCK WITH THEIR problem.. its now my problem. If they want to make it right my case # is 21550109 but I doubt they will!! For now I will be making everyone aware of my horrible experience and let people know NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!! More
No Deal, But would Recommend. I am looking for a specific used vehicle which they have/had but we were not able to negotiate a price that I needed. They were courteous and not pushy, but at the same time tried to come up with alternative ways to get me into the vehicle or recommend others. More

This was my first day shopping for a much needed vehicle. My first stop was at Courtesy Nissan of Tampa. My friend and I walked up and were greeted by a young man and my experience with him left a bad feeling with my friend and I. So, we were on our way to Toyota when we decided to walk on the other side of building to see the other cars. As we were looking Terry passed by on his way to lunch. He took the time to ask if we were being helped. I explained our experience and Terry apologized and said he would take care of me if I let him. I was reluctant at first, but I listened. He went above and beyond to accommodate me, he was the constant professional, everything he promised, he delivered. He was very honest and he really took care of me on Saturday April 9th. Now I'm driving around in my 2016 Sentra. I will definitely recommend other friends and family to Terry and Courtesy Nissan. Terry Phillips saved my business!!!!! More

TERRY PHILLIPS MADE MY EXPERIENCE AN EASY BREEZY ONE LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOW GOOD GOD IS AND HOW HE SHOWS UP WHEN YOU AREN'T EVEN EXPECTING HIM TO. I FEEL THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO PLACED TERRY PHILLIPS LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOW GOOD GOD IS AND HOW HE SHOWS UP WHEN YOU AREN'T EVEN EXPECTING HIM TO. I FEEL THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO PLACED TERRY PHILLIPS IN MY PATH THAT DAY. I HAD BEEN HAVING 1 "SMALL" ISSUE WITH MY 2011 NISSAN SENTRA I CALLED IT (SILVER FOX) EVER SINCE I BROUGHT THE CAR A YEAR AGO FROM ONE OF THOSE GOD FORSAKEN BUY HERE PAY HERE LOTS. I WENT TO DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND THEY ALL TOLD ME IT WAS A DIFFERENT ISSUE. I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING AS SMALL AS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE WHERE A WIRE HAD CAME A LOOSE AND NEEDED TO BE PUT BACK TOGETHER OR SOMETHING. EVERY TIME I WOULD START MY CAR IT WOULD TAKE A LITTLE EXTRA TIME TO CRANK OR CATCH, RIGHT?! NO BIGGIE AS IT ALWAYS TURNED ON AND RODE FINE. THAT IS UNTIL THE PROBLEM STARTED WEARING ON MY BATTERY AND I HAD TO GET A NEW BATTERY AND THEN IT DRAINED THAT BATTERY SO I HAD TO GET ANOTHER ONE. LAST WEEK I SAID ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I'M JUST GONNA PUT MONEY INTO HER AND FIX HER UP. LAST SATURDAY I PAID FOR $300 IN REPAIRS AND THIS PAST SATURDAY I WAS GOING TO PAY FOR $300 MORE IN REPAIRS, BUT SOMETHING TOLD ME INSTEAD OF GOING BACK TO MEINEKE TO GET IT FIXED LET ME TAKE IT TO NISSAN AND HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT. I MEAN THEY WOULD KNOW THE CAR BETTER THEN ANYONE. HERE IS WHERE YOU INSERT TERRY PHILLIPS THE MAN TO GO TO IF YOU'RE PURCHASING A CAR FOR THE FIRST TIME OR 5TH TIME. WHILE WAITING FOR THE DIAGNOSIS OF MY CAR I TALKED WITH TERRY. TERRY MUST'VE SEEN THE WORRY AND STRESS ETCHED ON MY FACE. HE CALMLY ASKED ME WHY I WAS THERE. HE GENUINELY WANTED TO HELP MY SITUATION. HE TOLD ME ABOUT A BRAND NEW 2015 CAR THAT WAS READY TO BE DRIVEN OFF THE LOT. MIND YOU IT HAD ALREADY BEEN DETAILED AND EVERYTHING, BUT THE DEAL HE WAS WORKING OUT FOR A WOMAN HAD FALLEN THROUGH. I THINK IT WAS MEANT TO BE MY CAR. WATCH HOW GOD IS ABOUT TO SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT.. TERRY SAID, "VALIA LET'S GO TAKE A LOOK AT THIS 2015 NISSAN SENTRA. IT'S MY LAST 2015 SENTRA AND SINCE YOU HAVE A 2011 I THINK THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR YOU." I WAS OPTIMISTIC AND WENT TO LOOK AT THE CAR. JUST WALKING UP TO THE CAR I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR. IT'S BLUE, BUT IT LOOKS TO HAVE A GREEN UNDERTONE. I GOT IN THE CAR AND BOY WAS IT AMAZING. I MEAN THE WORKS. NEVER THE LESS I WAS IN LOVE. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW IT WAS GONNA HAPPEN, BUT I KNEW I WANTED THAT CAR. SO WE WENT BACK TO THE OFFICE TO SEE WHAT THE NUMBERS WOULD LOOK LIKE. DURING THIS TIME SAM WHO WAS THE PERSON GETTING MY CAR LOOKED AT FOR ME CAME TO SPEAK WITH ME ABOUT WHAT WAS REALLY GOING ON WITH MY CAR (SILVER FOX). HE HAD A LAUNDRY LIST OF THINGS. FROM THE TRANSMISSION, ALTERNATOR, FUEL PUMP, SENSORS AND MORE. I WAS SHOCKED. HERE I WAS THINKING IT WAS A SMALL PROBLEM AND EASY FIX. IT WASN'T. I WOULD'VE HAD TO PUT IN MORE MONEY THAN THE CAR WAS WORTH TO GET IT BACK TO RUNNING 100%. SAM GAVE ME SOME TIME TO THINK THINGS OVER. AFTER THINKING I TALKED WITH TERRY ABOUT MOVING FORWARD. WE TALKED NUMBERS AND I REALIZED THAT MY MONTHLY CAR PAYMENT WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY. TERRY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME. HE WENT AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE TO SEE IF MY INQUIRY ABOUT A LOWER PAYMENT WAS POSSIBLE. HE CAME BACK AND TURNED MY FROWN INTO A SMILE. NOT TO MENTION HE SAW ME THROUGH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TEST DRIVING THE CAR NOW KNOWN AS "HEAVENLY BLUE" TO DOING THE FINANCE PAPERWORK RIGHT UP UNTIL I DROVE OFF OF THE LOT WITH MY NEW BABY. THE MORAL OF THIS LONG STORY THAT I TRIED MY BEST TO SHORTEN IS THAT GOD WILL NEVER LAY MORE ON YOU THAN YOU CAN BARE. HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH ANYTHING IF YOU JUST CONTINUE TO BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH IN HIM. TAKE NOTHING TO MAN AND EVERYTHING TO HIM. TERRY PHILLIPS YOU ARE THE IT FACTOR THERE! YOU HELPED ME GET MY FIRST BRAND NEW CAR. SAY BYE BYE TO PRE-OWNED CARS. I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET A CAR IN THE FUTURE AND I WILL BE SURE TO SEND ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO YOU.
