Salesperson Alvin works for the customer! Alvin Williams was an awesome sales person to work with. So good actually that we followed him across town from a previous dealership to Courtesy. He is very patient, positive and not pushy whatsoever. He really wanted to do what was right for me and worked hard to get me what I wanted. I felt as if he was on 'my side' so to speak which isn't the first thing I think of when I think of a car salesperson. Great experience, would refer him a thousand times! More

I bought my car October 31, 2014. 3 weeks to the day tha I am doing a follow up review for my experience so far with my 2015 Hyundai Elantra purchase. I bought my car October 31, 2014. 3 weeks to the day that I picked up my new car and it's already in the shop! Let me start by saying that my 2 experiences now with the service department have been TERRIBLE. The only bright light was Amanda, who I talked to over the phone only and was very nice and told me to bring the car right in. The 2 gentleman in the service dept (one named Arial) are very rude. Amanda told me she was getting ready to leave for the day but that the 2 gentleman would take care of me when I got there. I understand that I got there 10 min before closing for service but I was just dropping off the car and getting a loaner. One of the guys stated that they would take my car and "leave it for Amanda the next day and let her deal with it." Gee...sorry to inconvenience you! I have been in customer service for 30 years and NEVER would I say something like that to a customer. Frankly, I have been the one inconvenienced. My brand new car is only 3 weeks old and the check engine light comes on already and I have the car choking down the road?!? I am not a mechanic but definitely seems like something is up with the fuel pump. My prior vehicle was a 2008 Subaru WRX and in the 5 years I owned it not once was it ever in the shop....so I can't tell you if the service guys at Subaru are jerks because I never saw them! Haven't gotten the final word yet as to what is wrong with my Elantra. I dropped the car off Friday evening, didn't hear a word from anyone on Saturday but yet I received a call from my Dad stating that serv dept called HIM saying my car is done! OK I know my Dad assisted in the purchase of my vehicle but I gave the service dept MY cell phone number to call when vehicle was done. In my line of business (I work for a large well known insurance company) that's a breach of privacy. My Dad didn't go with me to drop off the car nor does he even live in the Tampa area. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with your service dept! Did I mention that I paid cash for my car...not financed! Or do dealers treat people like crap now days that pay cash for their vehicles? More

He made my buying experience seamless and kept in contact with me the whole way through. My only complaint was that my car came with an add - on package that included tinted windows and pinstripe. Neither was done when I picked up the car and I had to go back a week later to have it done. (Wait time via service department 2 1/2 hours) Now to me, since I was the inconvenienced and had to drive all the way from my home in Ruskin to Tampa to have this done...you would think that they could have given me a loaner for that time so I could at least run errands while my car was being done. In the end though I would still give 4 stars because of my awesome experience with Robert Hogan. I have since heard that Robert has "left" the company...too bad. Robert was one of the best things you all had going. More
Dont go here Ever since buying my car from this dealership, I have had nothing but problems with the service department. I recently brought my car in for an oil ch Ever since buying my car from this dealership, I have had nothing but problems with the service department. I recently brought my car in for an oil change and to inspect my driver's side mirror as it was not properly moving up and down or side to side. Sharlene was the most unprofessional advisor I have encountered. She claimed that she had to "bribe" the service techs to look at my mirror for me and they advised that the whole mirror needed to be replaced. She ordered the mirror and said it would be painted and then she would call me. Two days later, my washer fluid light came on. Yet, their service dept claims they top off the fluids and do a "41 point inspection. Obviously, that is a lie! I received a call from Sharlene about the mirror and proceeded into the dealership to inspect it, when I found out she was let go (yay!) and I was assigned to a new advisor, Greg. Greg is not much better with customer service. When I inspected the painted mirror - it had dust and dirt particles in it and fisheyes galore. I refused to have that mirror placed onto my new vehicle (it has 11k miles on it). He said he would send it back to be repainted. While I was there, I mentioned my TPMS light had come on. He said "It will work itself out, you don't need to put nitrogen in it now." Low and behold, the light stayed on so I had to put air in it myself. I went back for a second time to inspect the re-painted mirror and there were drip marks and tape marks all over it. Again - It was not satisfactory. He mentioned that instead of having their service dept paint it, he would send it to the body shop. Why the xxxx wasn't it sent there in the first place? After being fed up and having tried reaching the service manager, Keith, I took my vehicle to another Hyundai dealership. Within 20 minutes, my mirror was fixed and I was on my way. The mirror never needed to be replacd - the arm just had to be re-attached behind the mirror. Courtesy Hyundai doesn't have a clue what they are doing and they have horrible customer service. I would never go back there again. More
Woefully Lacking in Customer Service and Repair Proficiency! I made an appointment to have the malfunctioning right rear tire sensor replaced. The left side one had to be replaced the week early at another deal I made an appointment to have the malfunctioning right rear tire sensor replaced. The left side one had to be replaced the week early at another dealership (which took them 75 minutes to replace and get me out the door). However, a Courtesy Hyundai, this took 3 hour, 15 minutes for no good reason; just BS excuses. Unbelievable! During this time, the service agent never made any effort to update me on the progress. After 2 hours, I asked him and he said that it should be completed shortly. Over an hour later, it was still not ready. When I finally got the car, I asked what took so long. He then said that customers should expect those type of repairs to take that long. Really?? He then said that the paper work would take another 10-15 minutes to provide to me. By then, I, of course, had enough of their lies and BS?!?$ He then indicated that it would be mailed to me; 10 days later and I have not received anything from them. Service personnel at Courtesy Hyundai are trained to give canned responses to appease customers; upsell as much as possible; deliver lethargic repair service; and lie about several aspects. I will avoid them in the future and choose to purchase my next vehicle at another location. Don't believe their BS. More

It was a recall I made an appointment for 8:30 am Got there and was asked if I was Susan Robinson I'm not I an clearly a man. I asked if they didn't have my appointment? Oh no it's right here Lie #1 she then asked if I was here for routine maintenance I said no as I told the guy on the phone there was recall on the break light switch he checked my V.I.N. # and told me that my mothers car was indeed in the recall so I set the appointment. She looked flustered took my key and asked if I had a ride coming to get me. I asked her why I had an appointment and the repair shouldn't take that long. She told me no the repair would take at least an hour. Lie #2, I said an hour? I pulled out the broken switch last night cleaned it with wd 40 and put it back in it took me under 5 min. she got fluster. and said well there are 2 people in front of you Lie# 3 I asked what time the service department opened she told me 8am I asked if they scheduled 2 people in front of me in an 1/2 an hour? More flustered well there must have been a problem with the scheduling. But you told me I was scheduled? You were but they had you down as S. Robinson. So between S. Robinson and Susan Robinson you thought I was Susan? I think there is Lie #4 in there but I'm loosing track. In the 2.5 hours I was there I watched no less than 3 people come in and leave with there cars. I will stop with the rant here but before I left I was blatantly Lied to no less then 4 more times. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! Avoid this place at all cost!!! More

I had a most wonderful experience with this dealership. I had done preliminary pricing with them online, so a lot of the time and hassle of a normal "walk in" visit was eliminated. My sales rep Kenya was a joy to work with, as were all the reps that helped us find the car I was interested (it was parked way in the back of a lot 4 cars deep). When it was time to discuss sales price and my trade-in value, I dealth directly with Sales Manager Dan Violette, and we did not need to go back and forth with numbers. He was true to his word from our previous emails, and they were very generous with the trade-in amount. He also matched the pre-approved loan interest rate I had from another bank which made the process go even faster. Their finance manager was also terrific. I highly recommend them. More
