HIDDEN DOOR DAMAGE ON A NEW F150 WE LIVE IN TACOMA WA AREA .WE HAVE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2016 FORD F150. WE HADE SEVERAL ISSUES AFTER WE RENTED A ONE WAY CAR AND DROVE DOWN TO PICK WE LIVE IN TACOMA WA AREA .WE HAVE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2016 FORD F150. WE HADE SEVERAL ISSUES AFTER WE RENTED A ONE WAY CAR AND DROVE DOWN TO PICK UP OUR TRUCK WE HAD SET UP TO PURCHASE. MY GIRL FRIEND WAS PRE APPROVED AT BECU CREDIT UNION, WE ASKED FOR A PURCHASE ORDER SO WE COULD BRING DOWN A CHECK IN HAND. THEY SAID WE DIDNT NEED IT AND THE HAD IT ALL SET UP AND READY FOR US. WE DROVE ABOUT THREE HOURS , WHEN WE GOT THERE WE WAITED OVER AND AND A HALF JUST TO GET INTO THE FINANCE MANAGER. THEN IT WAS DOWN HILL FROM THERE.. THEY HAD NOT DONE ANYTHING TOWARD S GETTING THE PAPERWORK DONE FOR BECU PURCHASE. THEY STARTED THE WHOLE THING FROM SCRATCH. THEY RAN MY GIRLFRIEND CREDIT WHEN WE TOLD THEM NOT TO SHOP HERE CREDIT AROUND. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DROP A CHECK AND SIGN AND GO. SO. FINALLY THEY RELEASE THE TRUCK TO US. (NOT CLEAN AND READY WE SENT IT BACK TO GET IT ACTUALLY CLEAN) WE DROVE HOME AND NOTICED A DOOR REPAIR AND A CRAPPY TOUCH UP JOB. WE ARE NOW IN TACOMA AND REALLY ARE JUST STUCK. I TOOK IT TO MY BODY SHOP HERE AND THE SHOWED US HOW BAD THE PANEL FIT WAS AND INSPECTED THE DOOR REPAIR. CALLED THE DEALER AND FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE TRUCK NOW HAS 220 MILES ON IT. I WAS TOLD THAT FORD WONT ACCEPT AND IMPUT FROM A NON FORD DEALER. SO OFF TO A LOCAL FOR DEALERSHIP. THE TACOMA FORD DEALER GOES ON AND ON ABOUT THE POOR PANEL FIT AND SHOWS ME HOW BOTH SIDES OF THE TRUCK ARE OUT OF ALIGNMENT. . JUST THE POOR DOOR REPAIR EXCEEDS $1000.00 NOT INCLUDING THE PANEL FIT ISSUES. COURTESY FOR RESPONSES ARE "WE SOLD YOU A TRUCK AT A GREAT PRICE, ILL SEND SOME DOOR EDGE GUARD UP, THEY WILL SEND UP TOUCH UP PAINT. ??? THEY DID OFFER TO COME UP AND GET THE TRUCK AND REPAIR IT,BUT THEY WONT FLAT TOW IT THEY WANT TO SEND A "PROFESSIONAL DRIVER" UP AND HAVE IT DRIVEN BACK AND FORTH. GEOFF WITWORTH STATED THAT THE LOCAL DEALER STATED TO HIM THE PANEL FIT ISSUES WERE NORMAL... I TOLD HIM THATS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER AND HE SAID IT WASNT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT HE TOLD HIM, HE SAID HE HAD A VERY DETAILED CONVERSATION WITH GEOFF ABOUT IT. GEOFF FLAT OUT LIED TO ME.. I SUGGEST YOU DO NOT BUY A FORD PRODUCT OUT OF STATE.IF THERE IS A ISSUE,YOU WILL REALLY BE STUCK... COURTESY FORD SMILE WHEN THEY CASH YOUR CHECK, SO FAR THEY ALL THEY HAVE DONE TO RESOLVE IT IS MAKE ME RUN AROUND DEALING WITH THERE CRAPPY TOUCHED UP HIDDED DAMAGE. This is #1 Ford dealer in OR? How? I came to make an all cash purchase. Courtesy almost refused to deal unless I agreed to Ford financing. Refused to make call to verify my cashiers check was good. Refused to call the bank less than 1 mile away! Demanded a wire transfer and then supplied an incorrect number so money had to be sent twice...with two fees of course! Required 2 20 mile one way trips to complete the paperwork. Finance manager lied in trying to tell me doc fee was required by state of OR. Got very upset when I produced proof it was not. Told me the truck had been used as a "demonstrator". Have found out since truck was used for some severe hauling as the oil change light came on at 5500 miles. The owners manuel states anything under 6k indicates severe use. Even though I paid cash, the paper work was submitted to licensing bureau as having a lien. Clearing up that mistake took another day and several long distance calls. I consider all these "mistakes" as Coutesy's rather childish attempt to exact some revenge for my not being a compliant and submissive buyer. There are good reasons why surveys say buying a car is dreaded by most folks. This bunch of liars and crooks reinforced my agreement with that sentiment. More

I give this place a zero! I had inquired about a truck, filled out the credit info to get financed. After I was approved and we agreed on a price, I made an appointment to come I had inquired about a truck, filled out the credit info to get financed. After I was approved and we agreed on a price, I made an appointment to come sign papers and buy the vehicle, which is 3 hours away from where I live. The morning of my appointment is when we had agreed on the price and made the deal. I was told papers would be ready so I could sign and leave. The salesman was there that morning and spoke with his manager to make sure it was a done deal. I leave work, get over half way there, then I receive a call from the salesman. He told me that he was sorry but the truck sold the night before. I'm my experience, a salesman is suppose to make sure the vehicle is still there before making a deal with someone. 8 months pregnant and I drive all that way for nothing. I contacted management and they basically said sorry about your luck. This is by far the worst dealership I have ever delt with!! More
Won't go back Found the perfect car on their website, certified pre-owned and supposed to be a great car! Couldn't wait to go see it. Drove all the way out there, looked at the car for under 10 minutes and found a lot of things wrong with it. Realized quickly that this wasn't the car for me as advertised. When the salesman Dave (p.s. Dave is a total jerk) asked if we wanted to take a test drive we said no. He then asked what is wrong? We told him about all of the malfunctions of the car that were supposedly checked during the intensive certified pre-owned checklist, like the fog light that does't work, next to the damaged bumper, the two curb damaged rims, the light on the dash that is flickering because something is clearly wrong and the squeaking coming for the engine, just to name few. The dealership employee that did the certified pre-owned inspection obviously did not care about the quality or any of the inspection criteria that is supposed to be met for a Ford certified pre-owned vehicle. The car is still under warranty and instead of offering to have the vehicle fixed or even to show us another vehicle he turned away as he said "have a good night, bye!" and stormed away like a petulant child. I wish I could fire him, unfortunately, I can't. That is up to his boss. But, I will never go back. Unfortunately, can't give 0, so had to give 1 star. More

Not even close to blue book and then played games with writing numbers on paper, going back and forth with the "manager" and other lame used car dealer tactics to delay and stall the process. Needless to say we left without purchasing the vehicle and will not be back. More
