I took my F150 in for re-call recall and the service was superb. It didn't take to long and was called was completed. When I got home, I wanted to inspect the work and the first thing I noticed was a missing nut on the engine cover. When I see something like that, I hope the nut is not somewhere it shouldn’t be and the mechanic did a better job on the wiring where the work really counts? The reason for taking my 2019 F-150 in was a check engine light. I was informed that it was rodent damage to the wiring, which is not covered under warranty. It is disappointing that Ford does not assume any responsibility for the poor decision of using soy-based product in the wiring. I have parked 2-3 cars, including Ford's, Honda's, Toyota's, and BMW's at my house for 35 years and have never experienced "rodent damage". Based on this fact, even though the auto manufactures don't agree, it would suggest using soy-based products in the wiring is a problem, and they should assume some responsibility. More
