The buying experience at Courtesy Dodge was one to remember. From the accommodating and helpful attitude of Isaiah to the evident presence of Jose during the negotiation, it was clear that a business remember. My brother & I ordered each a 2024 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude. Once built & ready for pickup, we came in together to do our paperwork. We were given the business card of Dameniel Owens, Operations & Logistics Manager as our contact moving forward for any issues we may have. He was REAL QUICK to keep on both of us to give 5 star ratings when JEEP sent out their survey. (I recommend to NOT do the survey RIGHT AWAY, cause once that's done, the service is gone. That's what seems to be the most important thing to them.) The next day they realized that they didn't do the paperwork correctly for both of us (we used 2 different finance people, so they both messed up the paperwork). At first Dameniel seemed to be helpful to getting a courier to bring my wife paperwork at her work to resign, to get the windows tinted & to resolve the issue I had when the Jeep just stopped with 158 miles on it & had to come in for service. But after that I received a new tag in the mail. I called to ask him about it, because we both had a tag to transfer & brought our tags with us the night of delivery. He checked into it and told me that the tag that we brought, is what it was registered & to use OUR tags. So because I was charged an overage amount for the title paperwork, I kept following up for my refund. Well 2 1/2 months later, I had finally had enough. I stopped by & realized that I had been instructed to use my tag in error, so I had been driving with an illegal tag for over a month!!! I was no longer going to just keep waiting for my paperwork to be "eventually" handled. I went across the street to Toyota, where they have centralized all the paperwork for all the Courtesy brand. I wanted to be given information as to where my refund was & needed a registration for my tag. I brought in the tag they ordered so they could process a refund for it, he said they would process tomorrow. I came back the next day, I asked for the person I gave the tag to, I told him i needed someone that could resolve it, and I was done waiting, he said for me to wait right there for a moment. So over 30 minutes went by and no sign of him. So I had started texting with Dameniel about the situation, eventually we ended up on a phone call. I explained to him that he had my money, when I said he, I meant Courtesy & he was a representative of Courtesy, all he could keep saying is that he didn't have it. He also said he didn't have access to the information. I asked him to explain to me why he didn't have access, he just told me that he didn't. Well eventually I pressed & he said he didn't have logins for it, and when I told him to stop taking me to be an idiot & that he could get in touch with someone that had access so he could get it, he got irate with me & told me that he was done with the conversation & hung up. He just didn't want to give good customer service. I ended up walking back in the Toyota & loudly just started asking if there was anyone that wanted to help me get any customer service, quickly someone approached me, got me in touch with Debbie, Head of Accounting. She was the only one that understood & wanted to help & DID actually help. She tried with all her might to get me (& my brother) the refund checks we deserved. Within about 15 minutes she had totals of what we were owed, but the checks had to come from corporate and it was too late in the day to get them. She lives about 8 minutes from me in Lakeland & offered to bring them home the next day if necessary. The next day came, she got the checks in hand, she called me, I was in the area & I stopped by & got my refund. I wish that I was given her card & name when I bought my vehicle, as she is the only one that I have dealt with after the purchase that seemed to want to be help.
