Stephen Tapia is a Bad Service Advisor I had the unfortunate opportunity to meet Stephen Tapia when I took my car in for service on the engine. While he was not rude or anything, you could I had the unfortunate opportunity to meet Stephen Tapia when I took my car in for service on the engine. While he was not rude or anything, you could tell he does not like his job. He never smiled and he didn't look me in the eye. He does not have any customer service skills and is a very slow typer. He had me waiting forever to get an answer about what was wrong with my vehicle. He knew what was wrong for at least half an hour before he let me know and he only let me know after I had to hunt him down. My time is valuable and he wasted it. I would not recommend him. If he is assigned as your service advisor, I would recommend demanding a new one. Life is too short to be unhappy like him. More
Rude advisor Vechile was not ready as promised when appointment was made. Basic Maintenance Service While visiting in the Mesa area, I needed the 15,000 mile maintenance service on my 2500 Ram. I called the dealership to see if they could take me in While visiting in the Mesa area, I needed the 15,000 mile maintenance service on my 2500 Ram. I called the dealership to see if they could take me in that day. After a couple lengthy delays on the phone and being put on hold, I was transferred to the "Scheduling Department" where they were able to book me in that morning. I specified that the appointment was for the 15,000 mile maintenance check including oil and filter and fuel filters. I was assigned a Service Advisor. I arrived and the Advisor met me to go over the service. I again mentioned the 15,000 maintenance service (the manual lays out what is required for this service), including oil and filter and replacement of the fuel filters. There are a number of other items on the scheduled service, i.e. tire rotation, inspections and lubrications, etc. but I didn't specify any of those to the Advisor as I assumed they would be part of the scheduled service. The Advisor showed me to the lounge area where I waited. The service was completed in a reasonable amount of time (quicker than I was expecting). The Advisor came and got me in the lounge and took me to the Cashier (who is stuck in a tiny cubicle hardly large enough for two people to be in). There was no verbal review of what work had been completed. The invoice was given to me (amount was what I was quoted) and identified 1. oil and filter change, 2. fuel filters replaced (indicating the customer wanted the filters replaced) and 3. complimentary quality vehicle inspection (whatever that is). The invoice did not indicate the 15,000 mile maintenance service and there was no indication that any other work was performed on my vehicle, i.e. tire rotations, lubrications, etc. At this stage I have no idea if any maintenance service was done other than the oil and filter and the fuel filters. A Google review of the dealership indicates that it has new ownership and that seems to be the "excuse" they use to customers who have had less than a positive experience. From the initial phone call experience (asking for the Service Dept. so I could book a service) to the somewhat ho-hum attitude of the Service Advisor to the Cashier set-up and the lack of detail on the invoice, my experience was okay but certainly not good enough that I would return for another service to this dealership. More
