Our experience with this Kia dealership, and specifically Brian Eagan, was by far the best car shopping trip we have ever been on. We have been looking to purchase a car for the past 4 months, and in the process have been to numerous dealerships that either were far to pushy, or simply did not listen to our needs and wants for a car. When we found the car we were looking for at Kia of Gastonia, we decided to make the 2 hour trip up to NC. I am so glad we did! Brian was excellent. From the moment we walked in he treated us like we were friends, answered all of our questions, and even made sure we had all of the information we needed to come back and purchase the car 4 days later. After putting down a deposit to hold the car, we were helped in filling out all of the necessary paper work so that when we returned to pick up the car everything was already in order, and our car had already been detailed and was waiting outside the door for us. After 2 trips to NC from our home in SC, I am happy to say that this was an awesome buying experience, and if we decide to purchase another car, we will definitely return! I came on the lot to look at the 2013 Soul and couldn't get anyone to help me. I asked for Stephen Stiles because I bought a Soul from him last year and he was the best salesman I had ever dealt w couldn't get anyone to help me. This was our 2nd purchase in 6 months from Kia of Gastonia. In July we just stopped in to test drive as we were in the market for an affordable SUV that I could get in and out of without problems. We were approached by Jamal and it was a pleasant experience from there. We left with a brand new red Sportage "Kandi" as we named her. On Jan 12th,2013 we went in to see if we had won a big prize for the promotion they had going on. Well we can never just go in and walk out of a dealership. My husband's dream car since late 2011 has been a loaded Optima. Well you can imagine what happened next. He drove a loaded 2012 that was recently traded in and that is all she wrote...well after a few test drives. Jeremy Price was our sales associate and he was awesome. Larry the "Finance Guy" (sorry Larry I can't remember your last name) has been a pleasure to work with both purchases. We didn't win a big prize just a Subway giftcard but my husband is a happy boy driving his dream car! His dream car for the moment anyway. To sum it all up Thank you for such great customer service! What can I say to sum this up quick and to the point!!!! Quick, courteous, knowledgeable, and most of all caring of the situation!! I had issues with my driver side window, slipped out of track! Of course it had to happen as there was a thunderstorm about to roll in.!! I called and spoke to Clay in service. He told me to come right over!!! When I arrived, I assumed because he said come right now, that they wouldn't be busy. Not true, busy but yet concerned and helpful to everyone that was there for service, including myself. My window needed a part that they didn't have in stock. Another pleasant surprise, Clay told me he had the part on hold for a customer that scheduled an appointment on Tuesday to come in for service. He said he could put that one on my car, and have another one ordered and delivered before the other customer was due to come in on Tuesday!!! I was so thankful that I wouldn't have to A) worry about getting wet/interior flooded, and B) wouldn't need to come back!!! I would highly recommend anyone I know to have their vehicles serviced at this dealership!!! I will say, I do have a comparison, Kia of South Charlotte!!! They were horrible, rude, and made you feel like you were a number not a customer that had bought 2 cars from their dealership in one week!!!!! So another reason to choose Kia of Gastonia!!!, even if you have to drive an extra distance!!! More

They worked hard to get exactly what we wanted and then worked hard to get competitive rates for financing. We had a van to trade in and they gave us a very fair price according to NADA and Kelly Blue Book values. They even arranged delivery when the car is prepped and ready knowing that we live so far away. No pressure, no gimmicks, just honest business. By the way, this dealer has an "A" rating with their Better Business Bureau and we can certainly attest to that! Well worth a car and for us it was worth the drive. We will definitely do business with these guys again. More
Went in on a Thursday and talked to Brian, he informed me that a 2011 Hyundai was $11,995. So I went home to fill out the online application because I had to have a cosigner. After the application was finished, I was contacted by Daniel saying I was approved.... I went back to the dealership with my cosigner that Saturday. We looked at the car again and was ready to sign paper work. Daniel brings us the paper work and now they were asking $13,995 before taxes, tags, interest and all that stuff..... They jacked the price up $2,000 within a 2 day period and then tried to tell me I was lieing about the $11,995.... Very unprofessional. Oh. And the banks charges the dealership a $1,000 fee to use them. So then they turn around and charge the buyer more to make up for the loss.... Some dealers talk too much... Buyers need to know how Most car dealers work. More
