Commitment to Customer Satisfaction I came to Country Hyundai / Genesis of Northampton to see a Genesis G70 in person. I was greeted by Bill McHugh. Bill took the time to show us a G70 I came to Country Hyundai / Genesis of Northampton to see a Genesis G70 in person. I was greeted by Bill McHugh. Bill took the time to show us a G70 on the lot, and when it wasn’t the exact car we were after, the car I was after was quickly located for me. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked very specific questions about the car; rather than lie, I was told that he did not know the answer, and that he would find out. He went the extra mile, talking to service folks, other people in the dealership, and even contacting offsite resources to get the correct answers for me. Far too often, a car dealers these days are happy to give you a wrong answer if it speeds you into a vehicle. Not here, Bill will get the right answer, rather than a placating one. There is no feeling of confrontation in the process, only assistance and care. When my car arrived at the dealership, Bill gave me a call, and suggested I come down and take a look at it, drive it, explore it. Despite the fact that I had already decided to purchase the vehicle, and the paperwork was not going to be ready for another day, Bill was willing to give his time, purely to satisfy my interest in seeing the car. He took me out, and showed me many of the features my car had to offer. Bill gained nothing by doing this, but instead wanted to allow me the opportunity to get hands-on with my purchase. I met with Chris Schultz to sign my paperwork. Chris led me to a better understanding of this specific lease, and helped me find the best financial plan for this purchase. I left with specific additional coverage that I desired, yet at the same time, paying less than I had originally expected for the car. He was happy to explain all my options in detail, and really made me feel like he was interested in ensuring that I left feeling confident with the money I was spending, and understanding where that money was going. Chris was another step in feeling cared for, as a customer, with a focus on retention of business. Great service. When it came time to deliver the vehicle, Bill McHugh spent the time at my side. During unavoidable delays in the process, Bill sat with me and socialized, helping the time move quicker. At no point did he leave me abandoned to clock watching, he remained a constant helping hand. He did all the prep work, and even assisted me with my lease return and guided me through my cancelling of old registration. He introduced me to Sara in service, and Sara immediately took the time to explain some service related items to my new purchase, as well as set me up for my first appointment, and registered me for the Genesis Valet service. She also answered a few questions I had about the service process. Bill was there for me, as if I were a celebrity, until I left the lot in my new vehicle. It was the kind of consistent, focused care that I had thought departed the automotive sales industry, and was reminiscent of a high end, luxury buying experience. On the way out, he offered to help me at any point in the future should I need it. I truly believe that every member of this team I met, Bill, Chris, Sara, and others, are interested in building return customers through a higher level of service.
