Leased Vehicle Lies First took me 6 hours to make the deal that I already had in Columbus. Thought it would be better to stay more local. BIG MISTAKE!! Lease ended up First took me 6 hours to make the deal that I already had in Columbus. Thought it would be better to stay more local. BIG MISTAKE!! Lease ended up being $25 per month more than the dealer in Columbus, but thought why not its closer. Dealership quoted me price and I opted to make mileage 15K instead of 12K which bumped my lease payment up about $25 a month. Called Toyota Lease 2 years later about payoff and was advised dealership only had contract for 12K per year and not 15K. Not sure how they bumper my payment up and didn't increase my mileage. I currently have dealership complaint in at Toyota corporate....No I digress. The financing genius, Tyler at the time, was incompetent. We didn't get our tags until the day the temps expired and they had to deliver them to me after I called the owner and complained. Also, it was time to make the first lease payment and we still had not payment info as the dealership didn't process it correctly. We had to resign some forms and then submit a payment without any payment info...."Turbo" the salesman is also a joke. I called with issues about the above items and he would just blow me off, but liked to brag about his volume and how he was the highest in the dealership. Whatever. I am spreading the word about my experience and will be pursuing the issue with my lease miles. NEVER AGAIN! ** Update: Received a call from the dealership advising me that they have spent 3 days on the phone with Toyota and have cleared up the lease discrepancy. They are supposed to send me a letter stating that my mileage was supposed to be 15K a year and not 12K. I will edit and update my review as I get more information and we will see. ** More
Extraordinary customer service from Jeff Thibodeau! I have dealt with Coughlin Automotive for over 20 years and have always received exceptional service. The customer service I received today was especially remarkable. I had dropped my debit card (that I use every day) between my driver's seat and console of my Camry. After trying to locate it myself for over an hour, I frantically called Coughlin Toyota in Hebron, Ohio. I explained my dilemma to Service Advisor Jeff Thibodeau, He was very sympathetic and told me I could bring in the car today even without an appointment. When I arrived, he personally tried to locate my debit card under the seat. Since it could not be easily found, he drove my car to the garage and Jacob (one of their top mechanics) took the seat out to try and find the card. Jacob quickly located it under the console, even though it was not in plain sight. I was absolutely thrilled to get my card back so that I did not need to go through the labor intensive process of cancelling the card and securing another one through my bank. Jeff and Jacob made my day!! Jeff was very gracious and kind in assisting me, and I was not even charged for their efforts. I am especially thankful to Jeff in going the extra mile to serve me today. The negotiations of the price was more like a conversation then a battle of wills, which we have experience at other dealerships. Ben Parks was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I will send my family and friends to him when they are looking for a new car. I appreciated Ben showing us all the new electronics on our Camry. I really appreciated Ben setting up our phones with the Camry. It was one less thing I needed to figure out. I LOVE my Camry, it is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. I love the ride, the interior design, and all the features. I previously owned a Prius and because of the great service and the hours of your Service Department we wanted to look at your dealership for our next car and we were not disappointed. More

Bad service I purchased a car in 2002. Service was great for three years until I needed tires and ordered tires from Coughlin. Took the day off on the scheduled I purchased a car in 2002. When I got there I was told the tires were sold to someone else. This was at 9am. They said another shipment was coming in at noon. Since I took the day off already I waited. The tires never came, so I left. No apology from anyone. My wife a year later went there to buy a new vehicle. She always buys her own. When she was talking to the salesman and was trying to make a deal she was told that she should go home and bring her husband back. She was so upset that she went to another dealer and bought a Sequoia. Since 2002 we have bought two new Toyota's and my wife just bought another last week from another dealer. I will be buying another one soon and the family will always have Toyota's but won't be going to Coughlin for them. More

Get everything negotiated before agreeing to the deal Bought an 09 Camry from Coughlin Toyota in Heath Ohio and once I signed for the deal I found out there was only 1 key for the vehicle. They refused t Bought an 09 Camry from Coughlin Toyota in Heath Ohio and once I signed for the deal I found out there was only 1 key for the vehicle. They refused to provide another one, but they probably would have prior to me agreeing to the deal. New keys are EXPENSIVE (cost of key $30-150, programming $90). They offered only to split the cost of programming the key. They also refused to deliver the car to me with a full tank of gas, offering the weak excuse that people are constantly taking test drives so they don't fill the tank (the salesman gave me $25 for gas, so better than nothing). ALSO, with only 5 days left on my temporary tag I still haven't received the title in the mail. I called and they're telling me to wait two more days (they guy I talked to said I was about the 5th caller that day with the same issue). IF the title arrives in two days, that leaves me only a couple of days to get the permanent tags. They don't seem like bad people, but they should be better to customers after the sale. More
