Typical Car Sales Dealerships Nothing stands out about my experience at Corwin. The sales team was what you would expect from a typical car dealership sales team. Minimal negotiati Nothing stands out about my experience at Corwin. The sales team was what you would expect from a typical car dealership sales team. Minimal negotiation ability and actually poor knowledge of the actual vehicle itself. Finance department is very pushy. Advise not to get anything they are trying to sell other than the vehicle. Better deals are available elsewhere for the same things they are pushily trying to sell. They tell you one thing, such as "It can be canceled anytime you want." Multiple calls to Eric Flick about canceling the service resulted in him saying "Oh, it's been taken care of. Just give it a few months." Call back to speak to other people and find out it was never canceled. Rating for Flick would be a 0/5 if possible. Overall the dealership isn't anything special. Can't ding them for bad employees though so they still get only a 3/5, which is generous in this case. More
Matt and Blake did a terrific job and we’re very professional the entire time. Even if the deal had not gone through, I would have still returned in the future and worked with them both. My lease is coming due and want to purchase vehicle. Have twice now made appointments to come in and do purchase, both times had to leave due to all sales associates being “busy”. I am an inexperienced car buyer. The last day of June 2020 I felt pushed into a car I didn't want while my trade in keys were no longer in my possession. It felt as though because I was in the position t 2020 I felt pushed into a car I didn't want while my trade in keys were no longer in my possession. It felt as though because I was in the position to buy a car at any time that the team there longed very much for it to be that day with them. I eventually gave into the pressure. I could not unwind the deal the next day. The sales manager that pushed the deal quit within the week and the GM was on vacation then was fired. I unwound the deal myself by selling the car back at trade in value and buying my original trade in back at sticker price at great overall cost to myself. Taking on all costs and preserving the company’s profit margin. I understand any response to this review by the owner or the corwin team will appear even handed and reasonable to prospective car buyers. There appeared to be kind and reasonable salespeople there. The new GM Curtis and internet sales manager Justin were both very kind and empathetic. Not at all dismissive. But ultimately it is a situation where everyone is powerless and unwilling and you will not get any of your hard earned money back. Do not make the same mistake. You will not be able to back out or renegotiate and keep looking for the car that meets your needs once you sign. There is no right of rescission on vehicles. Cooling off period. If it's not the deal and the car for you and your salesperson isn't hearing you on this then attempts to turn you over to his sales manager... Immediately demand your keys back if they have them and run if you have to. Call a friend to help you. Run and do not return to that dealership. If you sign you will be powerless. They are pushing for you to take sole responsibility of what is a liability for them the longer it is on their lot. When you purchase and take on that Responsibility it should at least be at your own pace and on a car you want. Do all your research before setting foot on the lot. Understand what a four square method is in car sales. Know the car you want before even arriving. My salesperson was Marquay and his sales manager was Tyler. More
