I brought in my truck for a 20k mile service along with alignment. I told the greeter that I requested an advisor and tech. Neither got assigned to the job. I was quoted 2-2.5 hrs. Throughout the time was never updated and the advisor declined the work instead of me on engine air filter recommendations. After picking it up notice the truck was pulling to the right. I called the Manager and I told him that I noticed there no out mileage on the truck. We agreed to bring back the next day. The alignment was correct, still no out mileage but I believe he did test drive it. But the advisor did not notate the new miles. During the second stay the advisor never updated me and never acknowledged me. I when I asked for a refund or credit due to me coming back. Todd me that he took care of the second alignment, thought I had to bring it back another day so they can correct it. I spent thousand on my 4Runner on service and usually they do a great job. Jason Dalton is who I prefer to work with and I recommend Jason. Throughout the process there was no empathy for my time and hospitality. More
Took my handicap modified 2019 Toyota Sienna in to have the check engine light and throttle control mechanism issue diagnosed. They couldn't diagnose it the first time so I ended up taking it in about a mo the check engine light and throttle control mechanism issue diagnosed. They couldn't diagnose it the first time so I ended up taking it in about a month later, left the car running so they could run diagnostics on the computer. O2 sensor was bad so they ordered a new one and said it would be in the next day. It came in but was damaged during shipping. They ordered a new one and said it would take three days. The second replacement 02 sensor came in three days later but it wasn't the right one. I told them I need the car back ASAP because I would need it for work otherwise I would just have to take time off because I didn't have a car and couldn't line up a rental. I scheduled to have the car delivered back to them a few weeks later (I had just had surgery and was unable to drive myself) so I left the van at the dealership for them to install the correct o2 sensor and diagnose the throttle control mechanism error. I kept in constant contact with them daily because I needed my van back at the end of the week because I was only able to line up a handicap rental for one week because of previous reservations. They put it off and worked on other vehicles that had "more repairs". On the fourth day they said the van was repaired and ready to be picked up, but after we got it we discovered that the ramp and sliding door weren't working properly. I took it to the facility that installed my modifications and they discovered that the wiring under the dash that controls the door ramp had been disconnected. They estimated repairs at over $600 which wasn't covered under extended warranty. Additionally, even though they had it for almost a week to make repairs the last time I took it in, they only did about 1 1/2 hours of actual repair work in while I ended up paying for a full week for a rental van. The facility that I rented from said I could submit a claim for reimbursement to my insurance company for the rental van, but when I called they said I didn't qualify for reimbursement because they only did 1 1/2 hours of actual repair work which was far short of the 4 hours of repair work required for reimbursement. So not only did I have to pay over $600 for wiring repairs that should've never happened, I had to pay and additional almost $700 for a rental that was largely unnecessary. More
