Took two trips and appointments to determine the “brake controller error” was essentially what I mentioned to them the first time., software update. They even said yes a software update was probably what i controller error” was essentially what I mentioned to them the first time., software update. They even said yes a software update was probably what it needed. So $230 later being told it was front wheel speed sensors (causing the brake controller error??) I left the dealer the first time with the errors still in the dash. I replaced the front wheel sensor, attempted to reset codes, still had same brake controller error. Had to make the second appointment. This time the actually did a software update and the error went away. So two problems. They didn’t bother to fix the main issue the first time by doing a software update. And honestly, that should be free seeing how Toyota could potentially inflict this into a vehicles computer to force customers into the shop to spend money on a “software update” for a trailer brake controller. Yet I spent $230 for a supposed code check that supposedly said the front wheel speed sensor was bad. Yet nothing changed after replacement. Just very disappointed in the service. Not to mention the cost. $230 for 5 minute computer hook up code diagnostic test. Then being told it would be over $500 for parts and labor for a wheel speed sensor that cost $30-40 at true parts stores and 5 minutes with a 5mm allen to install. The only good part is I didn’t spend that $500. More

Awful service department. Charged for work that wasn’t completed. After months of calling and emailing, I was finally reimbursed, but only partially. This place is a joke and I will never bring my vehicles back. Used to go here for all service needs when it was under previous ownership (Larry H Miller). It has since gone downhill significantly. They didn’t do what they agreed to. In the sale of my car it was contracted that I have a downhill brake assist wired system put in my car.
