When it came time to sign the final paperwork, I was sat down with a finance manager, who then encouraged me to purchase a number of extra warranty options. This felt a bit shady. I had spent a lot of time weighing various vehicles and upgrades, and then all of a sudden they were asking me to make a quick decision to spend more money on something that I hadn't had any time to review. It probably would have been more upstanding of the dealership to present me with a print out of the extra warranty options earlier on, so that I could take the time to read through it and really understand it. More
