Buyers Beware This dealership is beyond incompetent. They are also completely underhanded. The only good I can say is that they were easy to work with initially and they found us the exact car we were looking for, which while not at their dealership was in Colorado and supposedly they would have it to us in a few days. This is where it gets gnarly. 3 days out: no call yet about the new car that was supposed to be here today. 4 days out: "we sold the car that we were going to trade for yours, so unless you want to pay the $800 transportation cost the deal is off", we go back to the dealership and waste another hour reminding them that we signed a contract that included transportation and it would be illegal not to mention immoral too not produce our car. They agree to do the right thing. 7 days out: "your new car is in, come pick it up" we arrive to find a completely different car then the car we signed a contract for. Different color inside and out, not including some of the options we wanted. They proudly presented the totally wrong car and then acted so confused about what could possibly have gone wrong, it must have been the dealership they got the car from that pulled fast one on them. "Don't worry we will get the bottom of this and we will get your car". 10 days out: "we are still looking for your car and we know what went wrong. Our swap manager (not the other dealership, surprise surprise) was confused about the fact that you had purchased an actual car with a vin number from us and thought you were just looking for a highlander with captains chairs" Translation they tried to pull a fast one on us and get us to take a different car then the one we originally bought since they lost that car when they were messing around figuring out how to transport it. 12 days out: "we should have your car here in 2-3 days or worst case scenario it might take 3-4 weeks". 13 days out: We go to another dealership and buy an actual car, not a hypothetical one. We kept Emily, our sales associate, out in the rain and wind for 4+ hours trying out different cars. She was knowledgeable and friendly - and went out in the rain without complaint. She also had a nice sense of humor, which is a plus in my book. Oh - and if she didn't know something, she asked someone who did. She was very good - we liked working with her. We finally selected a dark blue Venza AWD. When we got back inside we saw a grey Venza FWD on the sales floor that we liked. This was at least an hour after closing. We went out one last time to test drive a Venza FWD that was on the lot. While we did the paperwork they jumped the car in the showroom because it's battery was dead from being on the sales floor without being started. Since it was late - 2 hours past closing and we were all tired - we did the minimum amount of paperwork and drove home in our new car. That was Saturday. We discovered, later in the evening, that the battery hadn't held a charge. We charged the battery and I drove to the dealership on Monday instead waiting until Tuesday. I wanted to drive my new car without worrying about it not starting when I was out and about. They changed the battery without question. We completed the remainder of the paperwork while I was there, so I didn't have to make a 2nd trip in on Tuesday. I had an appointment a little later in the day that I couldn't not miss. My husband couldn't come in and sign things until after I left. The loan officer, Ambez, was very helpful and considerate of our schedules. He carefully explained everything I needed to know while keeping my schedule in mind. I can't say enough about the service we received - it was excellent - and I am picky. A different sales associate even found me some Advil. I imagine we will get the same treatment from the service department when we go in for routine maintenance. We've used them previously to fix the AC on our Sienna and were treated well. More
