We invited Joanne back in and she did allow us to personally show her all concerns that were found on her H3 Hummer. She seemed very happy and appreciative of our time, explanation and seeing for herself what we had found. We have made several phone calls since then with no response back. We have also found out that she has taken her H3 to another dealership for a second opinion, which is understandable. We spoke to the service department there and they confirmed all of our findings and Joanne decided to allow them to take care of the rear brakes while it’s there. Joanne, We have been trying to reach you with no response. I wanted to make sure you were happy with being able to see for yourself the oil leaks that were found on your H3 while in for service. I was glad you gave me the opportunity to bring your vehicle back in and both of us inspect it personally. The lines that are leaking will need to be inspected and monitored at each service interval, and if they start leaking worse, then they should be addressed at that time. We recommend the axle boot be replaced very soon as they can cause other damage if not addressed. We also agree that you address the rear brakes now. We have talked with the service department at Green Hyundai who confirmed our findings and are performing the rear brake service for you now. They stated they are not addressing the axle boot at this time, please keep a close eye that the leak does not worsen.
