Great car, but misleading tactics Overall, it was a good experience, Greg and John were fine to work with in Sales and so was Ricky in Finance, and I give them all 5 stars. However, there was one part of the process that still has me frustrated and embarrassed and why my overall rating is poor and I will not recommend Freedom Honda to anyone else. The CRV I bought has an additional package that comes with it, you know: "moonroof visor, luggage bars, all weather mats, protective wraps, etc." for $4200. I felt pretty good when I negotiated this down to $0 as almost all of these extras I would not order. The next day I had to come back to have the bars put on the roof. This gave me the time to price out this package individually. Bottom line, the costs of the dealership for this $4200 package could not possibly be more than $1000 and likely is much less. Now, I'm feeling like I got hoodwinked by your "upgrade package" as it's very clear this is used to make sure a customer pays full retail costs, or hopefully for you guys, more than full retail. I'm sure whatever manager is reading this is thinking, "great, that little $4200 package worked as it should". I'm thinking I got misled by this package and it is a shining example of why the car buying experience remains one most consumers would like to avoid. I will be passing my thoughts and experience onto Honda Corp of America. Like I said, Greg and John were good to work with and so was Ricky in Finance. This is clearly a management decision to put this package on each new Touring CRV and one that is leaving me feeling dumb...I don't like to feel like I've been taken and that's how I feel. More

All I wanted to do was Test Drive a car! I went into Freedom Honda knowing that they did not have the vehicle I was looking for on their lot. All I wanted to do was test drive something simil I went into Freedom Honda knowing that they did not have the vehicle I was looking for on their lot. All I wanted to do was test drive something similar. I had already tried to make a deal with a few other Honda Dealerships in Colorado Springs and the Denver area, only to be told, "The vehicle is way too new and popular, nobody is going to be willing to cut you break on price, or good luck finding one. Arriving at the dealership we were surprised to find the car I wanted had just come off the truck. I was excited but thought there was no way Freedom Honda was going to get that car to my price, they were just going to give me the same excuses as all the rest. I test drove the car and parked it, ready to leave the lot. I mentioned to Bob Day that Freedom Honda wasn't going be able to get the vehicle to the price I wanted it for and I didn't want to waste anymore of his time. His reply was, "Let me see what I can do for you." And walked away. I texted my wife and jokingly told her," There is no way they will work with me on the price." Dan came to the table with the paperwork for the vehicle and I knew then there was no way this deal was going to happen on my terms. After a brief discussion , Dan looked at me and asked, "What do I need to do to gain you as a customer today?", not, "Sell you this car". I gave him my price and he stood up and said, "let's see what I can do". He wasn't looking too positive about the deal and my wife mentioned he looked a bit stressed about how was going to make this work, as he walked through the dealership. Dan returned to the table and to my surprise, was able to meet my price and on my terms. No hidden costs, just a great deal for the vehicle I had been told was impossible to get for what I wanted to pay! Bob, Dan, and Freedom Honda made the impossible happen for me and I was able to drive away in my New 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring! I love this car! Thank You! More
