Ford should stand behind defective parts. Vehicle has been driven 15months. Seems pretty early for it to fall apart repair cost was excessive. Didn’t fix explorer right the first time Had to tow my vehicle back to the dealership to fix an issue they missed the first time. First time complained about a burning oil smell. Couldn’t find cause of burning oil smell but replaced my front axle. Got it back on a Monday (4/15). Had to had my explorer towed back on a Saturday (4/20) due to power transfer unit cracking and going bad. Service manager said that when they get explorers in giving off a burning oil smell it’s normally due to problems with the power transfer unit. If it’s a common problem then why didn’t the mechanic find it and fix it the first time? They fixed my explorer and I haven’t had it break down...yet. Also the service writer Cody tried to blame my husband when he told them about the power transfer unit and implied he was stupid. Happy my explorer is fixed, not happy about the service we received the first time around. Or the rude service writer questioning my husband’s intelligence. My husband is car savvy and only had the dealership fix the vehicle due to them having a car lift and it being covered by the warranty. We will be going to a different ford dealership next time I have a problem with my vehicle. I’d rather drive 30-40 minutes to deal with smarter, more professional employees. Also my mom used to be a service writer so I’m aware with how they SHOULD treat their customers. I’m not surprised though, everyone in Tri Cities has bad things to say about Corwin Ford. Now I can see why. More
Did a thorough job My car broke down on way home late Friday. They willingly took my car in, got to it Monday, and knew problem. Did take some time for parts. Intitially My car broke down on way home late Friday. They willingly took my car in, got to it Monday, and knew problem. Did take some time for parts. Intitially fix did not work, they went back in found many more problems and fixed all of them now car is running good. More

I do not do a lot of business with Corwin, but my previous experincees were pretty good. My recent experience was very poor! When possible moving forward I will choose to not to do business with Corwin Ford. More
Sloppy work and long time for appt My Explorer decided after a 3000 mile trip to have problems. Tried to make appt. online to no avail. So called and was told that it would take 3 we My Explorer decided after a 3000 mile trip to have problems. Tried to make appt. online to no avail. So called and was told that it would take 3 weeks to get in. Since I didn't want the car to die altogether, we limped it to the dealership and said to fix it when they could. It was worked on 10 days after taking it in. After paying over $500, I got in the car and started to back up...heard a crunch! Everyone stopped and looked. The panel to the undercarriage had fallen off. Yes, they immediately took it back and fixed it. But I wasn't impressed with the flippant response I got from Service when I said it was a good thing it didn't happen when I was going 70mph down the freeway. It could have very easily caused me to swerve and perhaps crash into another car. I have never in over 50 years of driving had this happen. Also, honestly...3 weeks to get an appt.! I asked Service about it and was told that Corwin is selling so many more cars than ever before. So may I ask...if they are selling so many new cars and the need for service is so great...is the quality of product going down? Found On The Road Dead...please say it isn't so.... More
