Oil change experience Oil change was fine but disappointed that an oil leak discovered wasn't fixed. Have to schedule a separate appointment and return to have that fixed. Never go here Total joke! Needed to replace a sensor on a brand new Expedition. Claimed it wasn't under warranty even though it had 3000 miles. After arguing they Total joke! Needed to replace a sensor on a brand new Expedition. Claimed it wasn't under warranty even though it had 3000 miles. After arguing they agreed to "do me a favor". Several failed attempts to get the part and nothing but excuses. They kept getting the wrong part then claimed Ford was changing all their part numbers so that was why and it would be 2 weeks before Ford would be done with this so no one could get any parts. Took several trips to the dealership all a complete waste of time. They never returned calls and we were constantly calling and chasing them. When I asked why it was taking so long I was rudely told to be patient and not be so aggressive. This went on for over 2 months! One call to Tom Denchel Ford (didn't even have to go there they talked to us and ordered the part). In a week they had the part and had us fixed and on the road. Oh by the way had 2 previous experiences just like this a few years ago with my F150 but thought the new ownership would be better. Boy was I wrong. Still the worst service department at a dealership I have ever seen. More

Recall and Maintenance Work Appointment Some of the works that was done was initially scheduled to be done a year ago. However, upon arrival then, they were uncooperative and was told that i Some of the works that was done was initially scheduled to be done a year ago. However, upon arrival then, they were uncooperative and was told that it was too inconvenient for them to do it at that time and that I would have to reschedule. In that time, my sister, who bought the same car I had, (same year, make, model, trim, etc.) was experiencing transmission issues. Thru a bit of research we learned that was a common issue with Ford's new tyranny system and Corwin fixed it (the electronic transmission controller) for her under the Ford Warrenty within 3 hours of her taking the car in, no problems. When I scheduled my most recent appointment with them, I explained I needed some maintenance work done and explained I was having some transmission issues, explained how so and told them I thought it was going to be the same issue my sister's car had had and suggested they look at that first given that it would probably be the most time consuming. Before even looking at the car, they told me they told that could not be it at all. My appointment was for 8:30am on that Tuesday. I took it on time, they again told me that based on what I was describing my transmission issue was not the electronic transmission controller, as I had suggested. After I left, didn't hear anything from them all day and assumed everything was going well. Come 2pm, they called to inform me they were just then starting the work. (Why the heck did I go without a car for 5 1/2 hours if they weren't going to do anything with it?!) Shortly thereafter, I got another call and they told me that Ford's faulty transmission wasn't covered under the manufacturer warranty, even though I knew it was. I suggested as much to them and they said they would call me back. Around 3, they called to tell me they would be able to remedy the tranny issue at no expense to me but, because they had started the work so late, they were going to have to gold the car overnight. I told them I would need a loaner vehicle for the interim to which I was told they didn't have any left. I told them that was crap and to find me one. I arrived back at Corwin around 4 and found 5 "courtesy vehicles" lined up and was a bit more irritated by the blatant dishonesty. The car they insisted I take was filthy, inside and out (so much dirt I could see out the windshield, crumbs and food pieces scattered throughout and spilled beverages in the cupholders and a sticky steering wheel and shift handle). Corwin refused to give me a different car or to clean it before I left. They did tell me, I would have my car back by noon the next day. I showed up the next day around 11:30am and they service guy told me my car was not ready yet. I said that was fine and went to the waiting area and figured I'd check in again at noon. Quickly after I sat, he came over and told me my car was not done and wouldn't be until 2 or later because the mechanic was leaving for his hour lunch at noon. When I told him I had scheduled my appointment for the day before because I was supposed to leave town that morning he suddenly decided that he should actually check before just making crap up. I saw him go out to the garage and come back very quickly and suddenly the car actually was done. They just had to finish up some paperwork with Ford, which didn't involve me at all. They claimed that they "weren't supposed to let the car go" before that paperwork was faxed from Corwin to Ford. However, I have a close friend who just left Corwin to go work in another shop who let me know that was BS. So, they did do the work they said they were gonna do, I think. And, among that was the exact issue the customer told them it would be, despite them telling me the customer was wrong. And, they did a great job of insuring that having the work done was as inconvenient for me as they could make it. The only reason I would ever go back, is because they are the only Ford shop within an hour of where I live. More

Having a part replaced When I first called, Mike answered. He was very short with me and almost condescending with his tone. I wanted some simple ideas, or for him to tell me that they would do their best on working with me. Finally after I realized the conversation just needed to cool off (mainly on my part, and no I was not being a jerk I was very calm) I hung up the phone not satisfied. I started to work on my own research and found my car wasn't as serious like I originally thought. I called back and got someone new. He informed me that Mike was working on my invoice and I would need to talk to him, but he would need to call me back. I asked him "is he going to be nice? Cause he wasn't when I talked to him before". The guy laughed and assured me that he would. Mike called me back, and listened to what I had to say in regards to his original customer service. I wasn't asking for any special treatment, I just didn't know what the standard was with getting service from a dealership. He corrected his tone and was able to find an appointment that would work well for myself, and the service department. I had my car dropped off, and there was better communication. Even if they couldn't get to my car until well after my appt time, I didn't care. I just wanted to know. He was able to keep me up to date while I was at work, and not take a ton of phone calls. Plus my car was washed and waiting for me by late afternoon! More
Had a couple of small warranty issues. They investigated the issues and verified there was a problem. They were all fixed and appear to be no more issues.
