When I bought my Explorer ...I paid fr a $2500.00 "Carefree" maintenance package. But they said if I wanted my tires rotated for the 5000 mile mark... That will be $19.95 extra....! Appaently tire rotation ... is not covered by Fords "CARE" or "FREE" maintenance package... Imagine my surprise!! More

Worst dealer service experience ever. Zero stars This directly from my online Facebook review. My lovely experience with Corwin Ford Service..... Who have obviously stumbled backward to their Leg This directly from my online Facebook review. My lovely experience with Corwin Ford Service..... Who have obviously stumbled backward to their Legacy Ford roots... So less than two years after they replaced high pressure fuel pump, I lose all pressure on Tuesday. Have it towed to their service center for warranty work. They set appointment to look at it Thursday since day was full and next day was a holiday. Thursday comes and goes and my truck isn’t even looked at. No calls returned, not even answered in service, (caller ID) so I go in Thursday evening to get a report. Wasn’t looked at but will get it looked at first thing and call by noon. WITHOUT EVEN TAKING IT TO A SERVICE BAY! They said it wasn’t the pump they replaced and they wanted 5 hours worth of labor to look to see what might be wrong at $150 per hour totaling $750 to see what they think MIGHT be wrong besides their part under warranty. So including their $154 parking lot diagnosis and $750 to just screw around, they wanted over $900 total! Needless to say, I had my truck towed again to a real mechanic that can fix what they say might be wrong for less than half their diagnosis fee of $750. HOWEVER, if my mechanic finds out that it is the High Pressure Pump and all this was to deflect blame for the xxxx poor work that was done last time (like that cracked plug on the Fuel Injector Harness you put in at the same time. Yeah I caught that...) to avoid paying for warranty work, I will see you in court! Your response was... Thanks for the feedback. We apologize for not getting your vehicle in as promised. Appears the main source of your frustration is the fact we are telling you it’s not the pump we once replaced because you falsely assumed it somehow would cost us money. Warranty work on parts pays for the new part and labor so we would get paid if it was the pump. As fas a “parking lot” diagnostics, we are able to plug in our computers on the drive and check out electronic components. Once your “real” mechanic diagnoses the vehicle please reach out to me. I’m the General Manager. I then replied. I can sure as xxxx tell you that a simple phone call with a short apology posted here would have gone a lot further than your taunting reply posted above. Just in case he changes it, here is a copy here. “Thanks for the feedback. We apologize for not getting your vehicle in as promised. If there was zero low pressure, the High pressure would not move at all. You also failed to address that I was talked into replacing the fuel injector harness because of the retaining tabs missing. Not only are the tabs not necessary but I was given a damaged one that I have since replaced because it would no longer make consistent contact with FICM AND where I also discovered that the same tech had damaged my fuel injector plug for the #5 cylinder that can cause it to fall into the valve cover when unplugged. Remember this was also the technician that let the positive battery cable get away from him and arced a hole in the fender when Corwin Ford replaced the high pressure pump.... you know that would not have happened if he had not connected the negative on the other side, and simply connected both positive, then the negative. But what the xxxx do know, I only studied electrical engineering.... Somehow you have mistaken me with the character that I only play on the radio. More
