READ THIS ONE IT WILL HELP! I purchased a 2019 Ford F150 Lariat with 41,636 miles at CorwinFordofSpringfield. The truck was miss represented at sale and had previous engine oil I purchased a 2019 Ford F150 Lariat with 41,636 miles at CorwinFordofSpringfield. The truck was miss represented at sale and had previous engine oil consumption, and transmission shifting problems. I have put 3,000 miles on the truck and it now needs a new engine and transmission work. The truck is still under factory warranty by one month, thank God. I made a appointment and dropped the truck off at my local Corwin dealerships in Republic MO. This is where the vehicle was diagnosed and repaired. The truck had the engine replaced and transmission work preformed. The day I dropped it off I contacted Brandon Steinke the G.M. of Corwin Ford of Springfield. Eleven days later (9 business days) the truck was ready for pickup. Ford Motor Company had still not called me back with a solution. So, I emailed Brandon.(This is the third point of contact in 9 business days) This email consisted of this. Brandon, I would like to apologize for this being put on your plate. I understand you have been moved to this store after this purchase had taken place. You have replaced a lot of your staff to fix issues before this event was brought to your attention, but I can only speak of my own experience. I bought this truck for a family friendly vehicle, and to start my local business out of. I have invested a lot of time and money into this truck. I spent 12 days building a custom slide out in the bed, for my tools, air compressor, and generator. I added many accessories to the truck, mostly to protect the vehicle from use. The truck was very crucial to me and my family. The warranty information presented in a misrepresented manner I am referring to is from all instances, described as a scheduled service. (1-26-24) The only information telling anything about it is in the notes. These notes are not available other than through a Ford Dealership on (OASIS). Yet when I bought the truck this wasn't disclosed at the Corwin Ford of Springfield Dealership when asked. The Carfax report I was presented at purchase has this event as a Scheduled Service . This is a misrepresentation. If the 172 point Gold certified check had been done like it says it was. This would have been noted and been made available at point of sale, and the oil/filter would have been changed. But it was NOT. I no longer want the truck due to this ongoing issue and never would have bought it if this information was made available to me.This misrepresentation to me is a big deal and I feel to make this right. A complete refund of the following is necessary and you keep the truck. Thanks, Jonathan This email also had documents attached for proof of my request. Brandon's response was this. Jonathan I'm sorry you are not satisfied. I tried to help you and trade you out of this car with no money out of your pocket. You denied my help and then said you were handling with Ford, and then after our 45 minute conversation went to Facebook to badmouth my business and it's employees. if your truck is having mechanical issues, told you I would help you and you have a warranty. You never reached back out. If you signed a contract with a interest rate percentage, you are locked in to that percentage even if you claim you did not understand fully. As adults we must understand contracts before signing you have emailed me five times in a row, and I'm home with my family. At this point would like you to stop contacting me and my dealership completely thank you This is while my truck is currently at a Corwin dealership. I spent $42,000 on a truck and the engine oil and filter didnt even get changed. Now im without a vehicle for two weeks and im interrupting Brandon's family time! What a joke! I declined the loaner because of these escalating issues. I will keep updating this till this is resolved! More
We were so impressed with Chad McDonald at Corwin and would recommend him to anyone! I hadn't purchased a vehicle through a dealership in 20 years and had anticipated the salesman may be pushy and try an would recommend him to anyone! I hadn't purchased a vehicle through a dealership in 20 years and had anticipated the salesman may be pushy and try and push us into something outside of our budget, but Chad was anything but! He wasn't the least bit pushy and truly listened to our needs and respected our budget. We came in having an idea of what car we were interested in after looking over the inventory online but also wanted to test drive another vehicle. He was patient with us and talked with us about all our options. I don't recall the gentleman's name in the finance department, but he was a gem also. It was a good experience all around and we absolutely love our vehicle! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Corwin again in the future. More

Cody was great my sales person.
