The manu My son had his 1st oil change on his 2014 Dodge SIX MONTHS AGO. I just saw the repair /invoice. He was charged for 6 quarts of synthetic oil. The manual says 5.5 quarts. I called the service department. JD said the parts dept. charged that. I asked why, when the car only takes 5.5 quarts. Then he says "Oh, the extra half quart is her on the counter. You can come back and pick it up." Sure sounds like a lie to me unless that half quart of oil has been sitting on the service counter for SIX MONTHS!!!! More

Do to conflicts, we actually dropped the car the night before with a message to call before doing any work. We did get a call early on the 3rd, indicating that it would be necessary to replace the entire assembly (these were HID lights). When they talked to us earlier, they told us it would be the bulbs, projector, or ballast. Now it's the entire assembly. The bright light still worked, why was it necessary to replace everything? What could we do? We needed the car for the weekend and other places were going to take much longer. We told them to call us as soon as the car was ready. Well, they never called. When we picked up the car on Monday, they said they called. Why didn't it show up on my cell phone history? Happens to me all the time. Why didn't you leave a message? Long pause. No answer. I believe he lied. We were never called. After being told they had to replace everything, we called 3 other Dodge dealers and asked them what would be necessary. They all said they could just replace the bulb. Given our experience with the call, I believe we were lied to here also. Why replace an inexpensive bulb when I can make them buy an entire assembly? Needless to say, we will be dealing with companies we can trust in the future. That does not include Corwin Motors. More
Horrible service dept. I have a 2010 Dodge Avenger that I bought from new. Over the past five years we have been dealing with intermitant electrical issues. Most recently th I have a 2010 Dodge Avenger that I bought from new. Over the past five years we have been dealing with intermitant electrical issues. Most recently they have been more significant and have had the car into Corwin Dodge on 3 different occasions. A week in February, a week in March and just recently had it towed in there on May 18th and just picked it up on June 11th. They cant fint the electrical problem, but recently when we went up there to get a personal item out of my car we noticed a huge puddle of water on the passenger floor board front and back. We advised them of our findings. They cleanded out the dfrains that were clogged and cleaned the water mess. My husband also asked them to clean the car since it had spent a month out in their back lot. They had given us a 2014 Dodge Caravan that had 12900 miles on it as a loaner. It was a mess inside but we were gratefull we didnt have to pay for another rental. When we finally got the first call from the dealership Jeremy was calling to tell me I could come get my car. I went up there and the back passenger floor mat was missing. And there was some sort of a spray splatter all over the front of my car to the side mirrors. I informed Jeremy of my findings, he said he would try to find my mat and call me to go pick it up. So as the weekend passed and no call came in I took a closer look at the car and found dents on my hood, scratches on the side and the spray splatter that was on the car was ruining the decal that runs down the hood of my car. I spoke with Dodge Corporate about it. They in turn contacted Jeremy and he told them they would try to have my floor mat by end of day Monday June 15. We went up there and he pulled a floor mat out of another Avenger and put it in my back seat. I showed him the concern with whatever this spray was on my car and he couldnt see it very well due to rain. So he said JD Weatherford his service manager would have to look at it the next day. So today I went up there and JD Weatherford came out to my car, I told him my concern of the spray splatter and he instantly started yelling at me. Completely caught me off guard and accused me of being a liar. He said that he went above and beyond to fix my car and they found clogged drains full of tree debri and cleaned the floor. Also that they had to spend $250.00 to detail their Caravan because of me, the tree debri, and dog hair.. That I trashed a brand new car. And told me that my husband told him and jeremy to their faces that there never was a back floor mat. He said if I didnt like it that I could talk to his boss that he didnt care but from now on not to bring my car back to them cause he will not service my car anymore. As far as them going above and beyond to fix my car, I dont think so considering they left my car in the back lot for almost 5 weeks and didnt even notice the water in the car themselves. They did remove tree debri from the drains and cleaned up the water mess inside. But not very well since there is a musty smell inside my car now. And like I mentioned above, the Van they loaned me was already a mess, and why would I vacuum out someone elses mess in a loaner, and about the dog hair... I dont even have any pets not to mention a dog. And about my husband, my husband told Jeremy that there was no "front" floor mat cause we took it out due to a spill prior to the issue. JD was not present in that conversation but I was and JD claims he was there for it. I will be taking this up with Jeff Mcconville the owner of oCorwin Dodge and I have already contacted Dodge Corporate in regard to this matter as I have done with every time my car has gone into the dealership.I would never recommend anyone go to Corwin Dodge again. I regret sending my friend to buy a car from them in may and I have several other people whom have purchased there cause of my refferal who will no longer be doing business with them from now on. Poor Service Dept. I hate that I even have to give them one star to write their review. I have a 2013 dodge avenger with 40,000 miles on it. Over the past 6 months it ha I hate that I even have to give them one star to write their review. I have a 2013 dodge avenger with 40,000 miles on it. Over the past 6 months it has been driving awful (front end issues), and has caused me to take it in and out of the shop multiple times. Each time I take it in the service dept plugs it into their compter and that is it. They refuse to drive it or to spend any quality time on the car. They have gotten very hateful with me for stating that I feel like something is wrong with my car (Several passengers of mine have even commented on the bumping/jerking of the car). My husband has ended up having to take off work to take the car up there and talk to them. JD (the service dept manager) was asked to contact my husband after they looked at it and he did not follow through on it, some other joe smo did and gave us the same ol' song and dance as before. I am now stuck with a car that drives like crap and they refuse to help. More
Dishonest, greedy I'm not usually one to bother going online to complain about a dealer, but seriously..... I can't say enough bad things about Corwin. My mother, who I'm not usually one to bother going online to complain about a dealer, but seriously..... I can't say enough bad things about Corwin. My mother, who had her vehicle stolen, went there to get a (new to her) used car. I will say that 2 of the guys who worked there were very friendly. They were good to my mother and good to me. Those men deserve every good thing that comes to them. As for the car itself, it's a piece of junk. My mother, not even a hour after driving it off the lot, had issues with the car. The "check engine" light came on. I told her to go to my house, get some sleep (she works nights), and I would take the car back. I kept getting told it was probably just the gas cap, but they did make an appointment for her car that Thursday (3 days later). I told my mother I'd take the car in on Thursday, so she could sleep after getting off work. My kids and I waited two hours, for the mechanic there at Corwin Dodge, to tell me it was just the gas cap. He added that they did rotate my tires and balance them too. the mechanic said he did go ahead and "reset things" so the engine light would go off. Friday, when my mother was driving back home, the engine light comes on again! Sunday, my husband took the car to Oreilly's to hook it up to the diagnostic tool. It came back as something completely different than the gas cap (so I was lied to by the mechanic. Apparently they just "reset things" so the engine light would go off). My mother called (again) and they set up another appointment (again) for her to fix the problem.... On Thursday. A week after it was supposedly fixed. She dropped it off early that morning after getting off work and I picked her up. My husband picked the car up for her on his way home from work, that evening. He talked to the mechanic who told him it was the catalytic converter and he would need to find some used back wheels (the car was driving loud and weird. Which for anyone who is asking, no, it didn't have any of these problems when my mother test drove it) for the car. My husband asked when it would be done and the mechanic said he would have to get permission to do it first. I understand having to get permission and I'm fine with that, but this place not only sold a junk car to a person who has to do a lot of driving (and needs a reliable vehicle) they LIED. I understand dealers do that most of the time, but this is ridiculous. If it was your mother, would you put her in a crappy car and let her drive away? Or would you take over $2000 from her and pretty much tell her "screw you!"?I would hope not. I would hope most people would be mad as xxxx, like I am. I would hope that this place was decent, but they're constantly giving my mother the run around. She's had to borrow our vehicles, stay with us (which is fine, but I know she prefers her OWN place), worry if the car is going to make it when she's driving it, etc. She doesn't even want the car anymore, it scares her to have to drive it. My husband has promised if there's any issues he can always pick her up, but shouldn't a car that you have had less than a WEEK do better than this? xxxx, technically, she didn't even have it a hour before it stared "acting up". She is, however, keeping HER end of the deal and making the payments. She can't be faulted on HER end. I know most would say to just take the car back, but then my mother not only doesn't have a vehicle for work, she doesn't have a down payment for another car. She has asked for her money back (over $2000) but hasn't heard a word on that. The car is a piece of junk and Corwin Dodge should be ashamed for selling cars like that to people who are needing something desperately to use for work/personal use. I've told her to go to KY3 over it, but she hates confrontation, so she probably won't do that. I still encourage it though. I understand that dealers have to "watch out for number one" but screwing a person out of money isn't the way to go on being a reputable dealer. More

The Durango has a cover over the trailer hitch so I asked if this vehicle has a trailer hitch that will work with my receiver hitch attachment. The salesperson informed me that yes it had a class 4 receiver hitch. The first time I tried to hook up the trailer I removed the cover to discover there was no hitch at all. I thought it was just an honest mistake so I returned to the dealership to have them correct the problem. I was then informed by the sales manager that it was my problem. The fact that the salesperson had specifically told me that there was a hitch meant nothing to the manager. This just shows you that they can't be trusted and will not stand behind their employees or try to make it right when they make a mistake. I would buy from someone else. More
