The team had one, double checked its presence , and I drove down from Tahoe to have the DEF tank replaced and other small issues addressed. Rodney and his team had a loaner car for me , and back on the road with my truck in a day. I appreciate the effort , especially since I'll tow a large load 900 miles next week. Excellent Service & Sales Dept I had an appointment with the service department to have some recall work done on my dads old '98 Buick Regal. I had arranged to get a shuttle home, as the work was to take about 2 to 3 hours. After checking the car in with the service advisor I mentioned that I was thinking about replacing my older Ford pickup - and asked if the dealership carried the GMC pickups (I'd never been to this dealership). The service advisor introduced me to Harold Solano, one of Reno Buick's Senior Sales Consultants. I explained to Harold what I was looking for - and for the next few hours, I received an education from Harold on the capabilities and features of what GMC has to offer. We conducted a thorough test drive of the GMC HD2500 Denali, testing its maneuverability in tight roadway conditions, which is one of my principle concerns when towing. I think that the best part of the visit was sales approach taken by Harold. There were no high pressure tactics - and he was able to locate a vehicle that fit my needs. While we were unable to complete the purchase (I need to do a private sale of my F350) - I would feels comfortable in coming back to negotiate a sale with Harold in the future. More

Another great experience at the service department! I called and spoke with Jessica, who made me an appointment for the following day and texted me the information (very convenient.) Repair of Air Bag Sensor Although they were able to repair (replace?) the sensor that had my "service air bag" light come on, it took all day to diagnose the problem and deter Although they were able to repair (replace?) the sensor that had my "service air bag" light come on, it took all day to diagnose the problem and determine if they could fix it. Had I known, I would've accepted a courtesy shuttle home. However, at the end of day 1 they did provide a loaner car so I could get home and get back again once the repair was completed and that was helpful. The loaner car was excellent--I was expecting a junker or beater but, no, they loaned me a really nice vehicle, and i appreciated that. Everyone was very nice and attentive and the waiting room is comfortable and there's free wi-fi so that's a bonus. The only drawback ... the cost of the repair for the sensor was astronomical! I wasn't expecting over $800! Egads, I choked on that one. More
