This was the first time we have ever purchased a vehicle from GMC in Reno and it was a great experience. Both Ken Lax and George Cunningham were very helpful and honest concerning the purchase and financin from GMC in Reno and it was a great experience. Both Ken Lax and George Cunningham were very helpful and honest concerning the purchase and financing of the 2011 Yukon Denali that we purchased. We would recommend Ken, George, and GMC/Buick/Cadillac in Reno to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle at a "no-hassle, no-pressure" dealership! Thanks, Jason Doucette and Jennifer Nightingale More
Our issue had to do with some complicated electrical problem with our 2003 Chevy Suburban. Jim's team worked on it and replaced a module they suspected was the problem. Unfortunately the problem re-oc problem with our 2003 Chevy Suburban. Jim's team worked on it and replaced a module they suspected was the problem. Unfortunately the problem re-occured, and Jim's team was able to isolate the problem and fixed it. The problem I now had, was that I paid for a new module that may or may not have been needed to be replaced - Jim recognized this and we came to a fair compromise on the fees. The honesty and integrity they displayed on this goes a long way with me, and they have a customer for life. More
A great "Old West" hometown atmosphere combined with true professionals who communicate care about the customer and do the job right the first time. I have been buying trucks and cars from this de with true professionals who communicate care about the customer and do the job right the first time. I have been buying trucks and cars from this dealership since the early 1960's and have never had a bad experience. Recent new ownership has made an already fine experience even better. You can feel the positive energy simply by walking in the facility. And when buying a car you don't get the "smooth talking suade shoe hustle" that is so prevelant in today's auto sales and service. I would highly recommend anyone work with the saleperson (Mike Collins) or the Service Person (Daylen Sellers) I have dealt with. You will not be sorry. RJBath Reno, Nevada More

Origonally I had a service appointment with Champion Cheverolet and much to my disappointment the experience left me devastated from the shoddy workmanship to the excessive verbal abuse with threatening Cheverolet and much to my disappointment the experience left me devastated from the shoddy workmanship to the excessive verbal abuse with threatening content. Then I took my vehicle to Howard Chevron Station because they are friends of mine and they suggested that I take my vehicle to GMC of Reno to get my oil changed because the oil change light was on, so I did. I was so pleased from the moment I called GMC and spoke with Rosanne Hutson on the phone, she was so warm and friendly and assured me that I would be fully taken care of. Then Rosanne directed me to Julie Vesik the Service Advisor, whom I explained my eperience that I had with the other dealership and Julie informed me that one of the parts that Champion Cheverolet was going to charge me for was a recall which made me feel like I was in in good hands with GMC and with people I could trust. Then Julie introduced me to Jeremy Sanderson and Jim Laurand they consulted with each other over my dilema. Next, Monte the awesome mechanic inspected my vehicle and told me what it needed as well as changed the oil. One other thing I would like to mention, is the superior waiting accomodations for the GMC of Reno's Service customers. Other dealerships should follow suit in the way Reno GMC treats its customers. The cashier,Matt Baker (known as the X-Game man) was cheerful, friendly, and handed me a pen as I paid for the work Reno GMC did on my Yukon also. One more thing was that Doug Kitter was very personable and was very helpful in explaining the new features on the vehicles. Thank You Reno GMC! More
I have dealt with at least 15 dealerships in my 46 years and have never rolled off a lot feeling completely satisfied with the service and/or purchase of a vehicle. This economy has been brutal for a great and have never rolled off a lot feeling completely satisfied with the service and/or purchase of a vehicle. This economy has been brutal for a great number of people. I really did not think I was going to leave with a new car. I had already decided that if I even got an inkling that it wasn't going to go in my favor, I was just going to politely walk out--I could not deal with another lengthy "inquisition" only to be turned down and then scooted off the lot. Many things were against me but the car salesperson who assisted me, Dave Siporen, walked me through the process painlessly assuring me every step of the way that they were willing to make things happen. Although I'd heard that same talk before, there was something very sincere in the way he said it. He felt my pain. He sensed I had enough of the humiliation and disappointments. There was something very real and personal about this experience that I never had, even when I was in the best financial position in my life--one where I could just call up a dealership, tell them what color I wanted and all the paperwork was ready for me to sign and drive off. In the recent years since my personal economy collapsed, I always felt I was hearing a drumroll in the background while at a dealership--watching the clown cars, the acts go by one by one, then only to get the elephant dung dropped at my feet--a joke, a skit that I was made part of. The drumroll wasn't there with my experience with Dave. There was a sincere earnest effort to ensure that I truly would have a vehicle of my own once again--one that was not nearly a decade old yet something I'd still be concerned as to where I was going to park it--simply put, A. NICE. CAR. And that's what I have right now parked right outside my window. A 2010 Chevy Malibu. I wanted an American car this time--check. I wanted a GM car--check. I wanted a car that could handle snow--check. I wanted to be happy about my car--check, Check, CHECK!!--extremely, in fact!! all thanks to Dave and this dealership that really made it happen. More
I was ready to trade in my Ford F350 Dually as I am selling my gooseneck and wanted to go back to a large SUV with more flexability than a pickup. Having nailed down my list to the Ford Expedition and selling my gooseneck and wanted to go back to a large SUV with more flexability than a pickup. Having nailed down my list to the Ford Expedition and the GMC Yukon Denali I visted with a couple of dealerships over a two week period. I wrote off the Ford as compared to the Denali the power was underwhelming. During my visits to Reno GMC Wayne Lew knew the answers to all my questions (and I know a little bit about cars)and how this vehicle compared to the competitions. The whole process was low key and low pressure right from the start unlike my experiences over the years in trying to purchase from Champion Chevrolet. Wayne knew his product, was personable and friendly and has become a friend. Buying a car is not my favorite way to spend my day; Wayne and the other folks at Reno GMC Buick Pontiac made me feel good about it. I would highly recommend seeing them. More
