This was for a recall on a car leased in NY. This dealership in Coral Springs couldn't be any nicer, friendlier, or efficient than they were. dealership in Coral Springs couldn't be any nicer, friendlier, or efficient than they were. More
My CRV was coming close to 90,000 (85,700) miles and the car had developed a slight noise when turning hard to the left. My daughter had the same noise last year in her CRV (around the same mileage) and ch car had developed a slight noise when turning hard to the left. My daughter had the same noise last year in her CRV (around the same mileage) and changing the differential fluid resolved the problem. Since the Honda service booklet included the differential oil change at 90K, we decided to have the 90K service done early. When the work was done and we complained about the discrepancy between the Honda corporate recommended service and what Coral Springs Honda provided and were told by the service adviser that every dealer has their own schedule and we should have asked in advance if the differential fluid was on their schedule. How is the customer supposed to know that? Additionally, they changed the transmission fluid which was not due for another 30K+. When the issue escalated to the Director of Service, he stated that he would have to look at our record of service there to determine if we were good enough customers to warrant a billing accommodation. We were not......... GREAT Customer Service!!!!!!!!!! More
Overall great experience and pleasantly surprised too! I would say my experience was similar to the one from the previous poster. I bought an Odyssey from this dealer about 2 months ago and wanted to valida would say my experience was similar to the one from the previous poster. I bought an Odyssey from this dealer about 2 months ago and wanted to validate the minivan's performance for that period of time before writing this review, so here it is. I started my car-buying quest, er, odyssey :) by calling a lot of Honda dealers in the area, shopping around for the dealer with the lowest total price (sales+dealer+tt&t), and originally did NOT get the lowest price from this dealer. However, after speaking on the phone and via email with Eric, one of the sales managers, he agreed to not only meet but BEAT the lowest dealer's quoted price! What struck me about this guy in contrast to the other salesmen I've spoken to over the phone from the other dealers (I'm sorry, did I write "salesman"? I meant, INTERNET WORLD-WIDE CORPORATE SALES MANAGER, CHIEF CAPTAIN, FIRST CLASS ;) hehehe as they always claim to be :), is that he seemed genuine, honest, and didn't bug me with contact, lead-generation questions over the phone before he gave me a quote. In fact, he was the only salesman to do so--the others demanded my name, phone #, finger prints, first grade teacher's name :), etc. before they would "call me back" with answers to simple questions like "do you have this model and trim" and "for how much are you selling it?". No, Eric gave me clear answers to both over the phone on the spot. Very classy in this type of business I have to say! After the total sales price was settled upon (and it was the best deal in the area as far as I can tell!), there was a bit of back-and-forth and confusion about the right color of the car. Finally, though, the car was in the lot and so I headed over to buy it. I then met Eric and he was as courteous as I expected and thankfully no tricks were pulled :). He had this salesman Roy give me a run-through of the vehicle and test drove it. Everything checked out fine and the closing process was smooth. The minivan is great and we are very happy with it. The whole process is how, in my opinion, buying a car should be (and I've had my share of the wily, lying, trickster, sharky car salesmen in the past!). So I would most certainly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Honda with a no-headache, no-intimidation atmosphere. I will certainly be looking to these folks again for my next Honda purchase for sure! Thanks, guys! More
I was looking for a New Honda Ridgeline. I emailed most of the local dealers, and Coral Springs, was one of the first to respond. I had had a very bad expierience 20 yers ago, and hesitated to give them a of the local dealers, and Coral Springs, was one of the first to respond. I had had a very bad expierience 20 yers ago, and hesitated to give them a chance, but Eric Mihelich who is a sales manager, promised it would be the easiest car purchase ever.. So, I decided to give them a chance...turns out, it WAS the easiest car purchase ever... most of the negotiation was via the internet, and when we sat down, it was exactly as promised. The price was fair, the staff friendly, the showroom was bright and clean, and the car was delivered nicely detailed... The total transaction might have taken two hours!!! In the several days before and after we closed, I spoke to the whole gamete of car sales "professionals"... Pompano Honda stood out as the worst.. can't understand why they have a good rating on this site. They dragged me out there on week night, to see a car that they did not have.. They had not even briefed the sales manager, so I just got blank stares when asking about the vehicle.. Look at the ceiling... they are having a hard time keeping the lights on..a gloomy show room full of sharks... It's like a swamp, depressing! More
Extremely dissatisfied!!!! Went in to buy a car and after agreeing to a price with the salesperson, he "made a mistake" in the price that he wrote down as the final price. (I believed him until I saw someone agreeing to a price with the salesperson, he "made a mistake" in the price that he wrote down as the final price. (I believed him until I saw someone else post the same experience with another salesperson) The finance dept is even WORSE. The next day I wanted to cancel the GAP insurance that I got with the car and was told that it was taking care of and that they canceled it. When I didn't see my loan balance change I called the finance guy and his supervisor. Supervisor told me that it takes a month that it should be reflected on my account by a certain date. Fifteen days after the date he gave me and after numerous calls to both the dealership and corporate finance, I went to the dealership on a Saturday and spoke to the same guy who supposedly cancelled my insurance and he told me the accounting dept was closed and that he was going to investigate and call me. Well I called the insurance company and they NEVER canceled my insurance. When I went again the next week he assured me that they cancelled the insurance with the company (lie #1) and said that the cancellation was being processed (lie #2). When asked why he didn’t call me to tell me that, he said he was on vacation and got back Tuesday (Monday being a holiday) (lie #3). He didn't even remember that I saw him that Saturday....Needless to say I am never going there again and I strongly discouraged anyone from doing business there. More
For those of you - like me - who stopped going to Coral Springs Honda because of extremely poor customer service, it's time to revisit the location at the corner of Atlantic Blvd. and University Drive. I Springs Honda because of extremely poor customer service, it's time to revisit the location at the corner of Atlantic Blvd. and University Drive. I read the other posts and I have to say that was not my experience. The salesman was attentive and knowledgeable - pointing out the differences in the four (yes, 4) Hondas I drove. I had an "out the door price" in my head and once I settled on the car I wanted - the salesperson took care of everything. It was the least stressful car buying experience I ever had.ST More

The dealership from hell. Messed up my paint job while pulling off the fancy stripe on the side of Odyssey. Did not tell me, but I saw it before I left. Brought back next day. After having it for the day pulling off the fancy stripe on the side of Odyssey. Did not tell me, but I saw it before I left. Brought back next day. After having it for the day when I went to pick it up, it looked like they used a magic marker to fix. Left it 3 days and looked good. Within a month the paint stated to chip. Left another 3 days and so far [2 months] it looks ok. The vertical molding strips between the windows started fading after a month. Looks like when they cleaned the car they used a corrosive rag on them. Brought it back 3 weeks ago and Marcus brought it to the back and came back 10 minutes later and told me its good. 2 weeks later the fading reappeared. Took it to Rick Case Honda [5A+ dealer to me] and the ordered new panels. What a difference a dealer makes. Never going back to Coral Springs Honda. They Suck!!!!!! More
This is the worst dealership in South Florida. In 2006, I tried purchasing a car from them, ended up with nothing but lies and no cars. On April 21, 2011, I tried giving them another shot, same story. Wasted tried purchasing a car from them, ended up with nothing but lies and no cars. On April 21, 2011, I tried giving them another shot, same story. Wasted three hours at the dealership, the sales person and I discussed numbers which he told me was doable (I'm aggressive on pricing, know my stuff, sales manager jacked up the prices, started arguing with me in a very rude way and told me to get out. The next day, Pompano Honda sold me the SAME CAR, with MORE ACCESSORIES (at no extra charge, unlike Coral Springs) and I paid ALOT less. Pompano Honda also gave me more for my trade than Coral Springs was offering. More
This is the story of my recent experience with Coral Springs Honda: I sold my old car and was in the market for a new car. I was a cash buyer, so I first called Coral Springs Honda (they were in the r Springs Honda: I sold my old car and was in the market for a new car. I was a cash buyer, so I first called Coral Springs Honda (they were in the region and had a good ranking with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)), and they quoted me a great price on the car (they agreed to sell me the car at the invoice price and just make money on the dealer holdback), so I grabbed my checkbook and waited for their driver to come get me. Once I got to Coral Springs Honda, all the numbers started to change. The showed me a print out that said "invoice price" with some number highlighted, and when I asked for a copy of the "actual" invoice (not a print-out) that showed the "sold to" address, etc., they reluctantly brought me the real invoice, which was several hundred dollars less than the "invoice" price they printed and highlighted on the original sheet I was given. As I sat at the desk of the salesman, the number fudging continued (e.g., there were dealer installed accessories on the car that normally don't come with it, which, of course, they wanted to charge me for). Frustrated and without a car to get home, I called Braman Honda and spoke with Sabrina. I told her the situation I was in -- that I was a cash buyer looking to write a check for one full amount (including taxes, etc.) and that the Coral Springs Honda people were messing around with the numbers. She called me back within 5 minutes with an even better price than originally quoted by Coral Springs Honda. She then sent a driver from Braman Honda to drive about two hours round-trip to pick me up from Coral Springs Honda (at no cost). I got to Braman and was sold the exact car I wanted at the agreed upon price on the phone. It's also worth mentioning that while waiting for Sabrina to call me back, I phoned a few other Honda dealerships in the region and they all eventually called me back, all with decent prices, but none more competitive than Braman. The following day, my friend's car broke down and he needed to buy another car. He called several different places and couldn't get financing. I told him about Sabrina and Braman, and I suspected they may be able to do something for him despite being turned down everywhere else. As predicted, he too bought the exact same car as I did, and Braman was the only company that would finance him. If you are looking for great customer service, excellent value, and a quality product, look no further than Braman Honda (and Sabrina of course!). If Coral Springs Honda would have just dealt with me honestly, they would have sold 2 cars. Customer Services and honestly really does pay off, and I'm happy there are review sites like this to help keep other consumers aware and informed. This review is both to document the negative experience I had with Coral Springs Honda, as well as the positive experience I had with Braman Honda of the Palm Beaches. Ironically, one of the employees at Braman had come from Coral Springs Honda and left because he didn't like the sales tactics used there (so he says). On a positive note, the people at Coral Springs Honda were very friendly. Sneaky, but friendly ;) More
