My Avalon has been experiencing minor squeaks and rough operation when I applied my brakes. I considered going to the dealer from whom I purchased my car, Boch Toyota of Norwood, but of late Boch had been operation when I applied my brakes. I considered going to the dealer from whom I purchased my car, Boch Toyota of Norwood, but of late Boch had been quoting what I thought were large figures for common repairs, leading me to this site and to Copeland Toyota - Scion. I called Copeland and was told I could bring my car in within the hour, where I met immediately with Paul G. in the Service Department. The Copeland team found that my brakes were in fact OK, and that the rough ride was caused by third party brakes I'd had installed 50,000 mi ago. Paul gave me the option of repairing the brakes using Toyota parts, but told me I did not have a safety problem. I decided to defer any action on the brakes. My Avalon had another problem which I'd not yet had fixed due to cost. The "VSC" and "Check Engine" lights were on due to a faulty oxygen sensor, but Boch advised it would cost $2,000 to fix and I wanted to defer that expense as long as possible. I asked Paul to examine the problem and propose some solutions. Copeland found two TSB's (Service Bulletins) on the sensors and quoted both options: one would replace the sensor and a manifold, and would cost approximately $1500 (the same was $2,000 at Boch), while the second option, which I selected, replaced the faulty sensor with a new version of the original sensor, costing only $500! This was $1500 less than the quote from Boch. The total service time was only two hours. I'll be bringing both my Toyota's to Copeland for service. More
My problem is not with this dealership. As a matter of fact, the service at the dealership is fabulous. My problem is with the manufacturer (Toyota)and issues w/ its line of automobiles that, in my humble fact, the service at the dealership is fabulous. My problem is with the manufacturer (Toyota)and issues w/ its line of automobiles that, in my humble opinion, will not be corrected until electrical issues are addressed. In the near future I will have to purchase a 2nd car and until I'm confident Toyota addresses the "true" problem(s), I will not buy another Toyota. More

I have found the dealership to be very friendly and helpful at all times. Having bought my first new car forty years ago, I find Copeland Toyota a rarity. From my initial contact with them over a year helpful at all times. Having bought my first new car forty years ago, I find Copeland Toyota a rarity. Engine light came on. My wife needs car for appointments with clients and must have a car she can rely on. She called Copeland Toyota right away; they gave her an appointment that same day and took care of with clients and must have a car she can rely on. She called Copeland Toyota right away; they gave her an appointment that same day and took care of problem that caused engine light to come on. Our experience with Copeland Toyota's service department has been consistently excellent with attentive and dependable personnel. We stopped buying our Toyotas from a dealer much closer to home because their service department was unattentive and undependable. More

I always bought my Toyotas and had them serviced at the Clair dealership in West Roxbury. Eventually I moved from West Roxbury to Bellingham, Mass. It is a distance of about 45 miles. I never had a problem Clair dealership in West Roxbury. Eventually I moved from West Roxbury to Bellingham, Mass. It is a distance of about 45 miles. I never had a problem with Clair. The service writers were pleasant and my 1989 Camry lasted thirteen years. I then bought a RAV4 from Clair and then traded it in for a newer model. Soon after I bought the second RAV4, Clair sold its dealership to Prime. I still continued with Prime but something had changed at the dealership. There were always new people at the service counter. I continued with Prime until one day I went in for regularly scheduled service and to have the tire pressure light reset (caused by Prime on a previous service visit). I thought all was fine until halfway home when the tire pressure light came back on. I called Prime and the man I spoke to was sympathetic and told me to come back the next day. Because of the distance, I told him it was an inconvenience for me to drive that distance again. I also told him I would not come back to Prime and since that time, I have been true to my word. One day while in Brockton, I saw a billboard advertising Copeland Toyota. I dropped in and the dealer fixed the tire pressure warning light without charge. I was impressed with Copeland and began to bring my RAV4 there to have it serviced. So far, I have been very satisfied with Copeland. Although Copeland in Brockton is probably farther away than Clair in West Roxbury, I continue to go to Copeland. So far they have met all my expectations of what good service should be. Now here is a story not related to the service I received at Copeland yesterday. Today I was driving to the veterinarian with a dog and a cat in the car. It was snowing a bit. As I turned left into the veterinarian's parking lot, a 22 year old boy in a Grand Prix wasn't watching what he was doing. He rear-ended my RAV4 and caused damage to the right rear pushing the bumper against the back tire. I was strapped in, the dog was strapped in, and the cat was in the very rear in a carrier. Luckily, I wasn't hurt, the dog and cat did not get hurt, and the driver of the Grand Prix and his passenger were not hurt. However, the Grand Prix's front end suffered substantial damage. As a side note, I am unhappy to hear of the acceleration problems drivers of certain Toyota models are having. I hope Toyota can resolve the problem and regain Toyota lovers' trust and bragging rights about Toyota's reliability. More
