I wasted three hours and was given a price which was thousands lower than the blue book for my trade-in vehicle. The managers were a bit shady. I felt like I was on let's make a deal. They quoted me thousands lower than the blue book for my trade-in vehicle. The managers were a bit shady. I felt like I was on let's make a deal. They quoted me a reasonable price on the Tacoma(by phone) I was looking for, but then counter productively took the offer down with the low price for my trade-in. I think I was given the low price to get me to come to the dealership. They continuously asked what would it take for me to buy the vehicle. I answered,"a fair, lower price." they state that they needed me to tell them what I wanted to pay for the car. That's when I told them that I was not there to play games and left, unhappy and tired of waiting for a managers reply. I thought "they" were responsible to give you a price for the vehicle. If car dealers would give a fair price when you asked for a price, more people would have respect for dealerships. They play games and give you high prices at first and then go lower as you get closer to leaving the dealership.(xxx are they thinking???) It's the only time in my life when I don't enjoy buying something because you never know when you are getting a good deal. They are so untrustworthy!!! If the poor person goes in and doesn't ask for a lower price they really get the shaft! The sales person was very kind and considerate but, had no clout whatsoever. He was just a representative of the manager not a sales person. He may as well have been sweeping the floor. Well, I decided to keep my older vehicle and never return to Copeland Toyota unless I want to feel like I am on Let's Make a Deal!!! More
I had negotiated a price for a new Toyota, and made a deposit for the lease of the car. I live in NH and made clear the distance I would have to travel to complete the deal, requesting an expeditious co deposit for the lease of the car. I live in NH and made clear the distance I would have to travel to complete the deal, requesting an expeditious completion once I arrived. I arrived to find that I could not complete the deal because I didn't bring a temp NH license plate. I left with the understanding I could complete on next visit. I called the following day to make sure the deal could be completed if I brought the plates. I was told the deal could be completed but, when I was half way there I was told that the "finance guy" was not available on Sunday and I could not get the car. I called another dealer (in MA) and he matched the price, and delivered the car to me at my home the following day. Copeland should have a simple process for out of state sales (as most dealers do) and make the sale simple and painless (as the dealer I ultimately purchased from did) It seemed as if they had never sold a car to someone out of state before. After running away from Boch, ended up purchasing a Highlander from Copeland. An excellent price was quoted over the Internet so there was no negotiation. The vehicle was delivered flawlessly the ne Highlander from Copeland. An excellent price was quoted over the Internet so there was no negotiation. The vehicle was delivered flawlessly the nest day. About the only negatives I can talk about is that they really pushed a lease versus a purchase and the Business Manager was "ok" but not great. I recommend this dealership but do your negotiation over the Internet usuing a servive like Edmunds so you know your price and vehicle before you walk in. More

I purchased a used highlander at Copeland Toyota three months ago. My sales person was very honest and understanding of my situation. They treated me as though I was there most important customer. I went months ago. My sales person was very honest and understanding of my situation. They treated me as though I was there most important customer. I went to three other dealers and all three were trying to give me four thousand dollars less for my car. I would reccomend any and everyone to go to Copeland if they want to buy a car or truck. He was very nice. More
I was looking for a Camry as a trade in for my 92 Volvo. Jay showed my a 95 Camry and I bought it in the spot. Jay was great. No presure, gave me a good trade in for a 12 year old car. Had a couple of issue Jay showed my a 95 Camry and I bought it in the spot. Jay was great. No presure, gave me a good trade in for a 12 year old car. Had a couple of issues with the car and they were fixed with no problem. They even replaced the rear window when I noticed the rear defrost was not working. Very good service. The only small issue I have is that they charged me $36 within the warranty period for a rear brake noise. I paid it with no fuss since they honor their work. I would highly recommend them. More
