My Avalon has been experiencing minor squeaks and rough operation when I applied my brakes. I considered going to the dealer from whom I purchased my car, Boch Toyota of Norwood, but of late Boch had been operation when I applied my brakes. I considered going to the dealer from whom I purchased my car, Boch Toyota of Norwood, but of late Boch had been quoting what I thought were large figures for common repairs, leading me to this site and to Copeland Toyota - Scion. I called Copeland and was told I could bring my car in within the hour, where I met immediately with Paul G. in the Service Department. The Copeland team found that my brakes were in fact OK, and that the rough ride was caused by third party brakes I'd had installed 50,000 mi ago. Paul gave me the option of repairing the brakes using Toyota parts, but told me I did not have a safety problem. I decided to defer any action on the brakes. My Avalon had another problem which I'd not yet had fixed due to cost. The "VSC" and "Check Engine" lights were on due to a faulty oxygen sensor, but Boch advised it would cost $2,000 to fix and I wanted to defer that expense as long as possible. I asked Paul to examine the problem and propose some solutions. Copeland found two TSB's (Service Bulletins) on the sensors and quoted both options: one would replace the sensor and a manifold, and would cost approximately $1500 (the same was $2,000 at Boch), while the second option, which I selected, replaced the faulty sensor with a new version of the original sensor, costing only $500! This was $1500 less than the quote from Boch. The total service time was only two hours. I'll be bringing both my Toyota's to Copeland for service. More

This is our third purchase of a Camry in the past 10 years from Copeland Toyota. From the moment you step onto the lot you are greeted by a "no-pressure" employee which is a treat in intself. Rich Trieber was "our person" this time and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took us on our test drive with my husband at the wheel. Once we had decided on our new car we were brought into the dealership where we were met by Jay who remembered us from 6 years ago when we purchased our 2004 Camry. He greeted us by name. I was impressed!! And the dealership--a customer's dream! Absolutely gorgeous with so many wonderful amenities for customer comfort!! Quite simply, Copeland Toyota trys harder to please. I believe that is why they are successful and why I would refer my family and friends to them. More
My husband and I have bought 3 cars from Copeland Toyota in the last two years, including our recent purchase. Franco Leonard treats us with respect, and values our time by never giving us the "run around" in the last two years, including our recent purchase. I will continue to work with him, and only him, on future purchases and have already referred several people to him for their car needs. I really appreciate that he is honest, forth-coming with information, and genuinely wants us to walk away happy. And we have....three great experiences, and hopefully more to come in the future. I visited Copeland after a poor experience at a local Toyota dealership. I was impressed with the professionalism of the salesperson, Reggie, who was knowledgeable, friendly and listened to my needs car Toyota dealership. I was prepared to have to bargain hard for the car I wanted, and was pleasantly surprised that the deal he offered included many extras at a price lower than the other dealership for the basic vehicle. My experience with having an oil change in their service area was equally positive. Copeland's repair shop is impeccable and they treat their customers well. If you need to wait, there is a super comfortable waiting area, though you may have competition for the massage recliners if you go at a busy time. Last but not least, when the negative press about Toyota came out months back, I had a personal 'live' call from my salesperson explaining how the recall would work, and provided his cell number if I had any immediate concerns. Within a week I received a recorded call from the dealership to reassure me and describe their steps in addressing customer concern. My car has been a joy to drive and my experience with Copeland has been first rate. I would make the drive to buy another car from them again. More
Copland Toyota was the first dealers to reply to my internet query (both email and phone call. The call I received was from email Brian to let me know that they received my request and wanted some basic information (trade, price range, options) and ask to know when I can come in. I was not sure yet on when I would be able to. No problem. Brian asked that I call him back and in the mean time he would look for a car that had the features I wanted. I got his email the next day with a quote for a car based on what we discussed. Brian called to follow up to see if I got his quote and asked if it would be something I would be interested in to come test drive. We discussed some other possibilities (new vs new) 2009 vs 2010, 0% financing, etc over the phone. I mentioned that I was going to try to visit Copeland over the but was not sure when or what day, he was ok with that. He just asked to give him a heads up so he can have a car ready for test drive. Brian was not at the dealer the day I visited but was promptly assisted by Ivan who put me with Steve. One of the things I like at Copeland is that they let you test drive without a salesperson in the car (not a lot of dealers do this) I was able to test drive 2 cars V6 and V4 (AWD) I was able to take my time and enjoyed the test drive. After the test drive Brian presented their offer. My test drive took longer than the the time I sat down with Brian to discuss numbers. There was no pressure HE asked that I put a hold on the car. I declined as I was visiting other dealers that day. He talked about the addition fees (doc, tax, title, prep, etc) and ask that I ask all the other dealers about their charges. The quote I received was one of the best out of several. I only wish that I could get the same discounts on the dealer installed accessories/options that were added. I gives you a better feeling that on the deal if you can get something at a deep cut or "thrown in" to beat a competitors price. I did have some additional questions that should have received a quicker response (without having to followup a few times via email) I dealt with Copeland via email mainly. Copeland was responsive. They returned my calls promptly and did not hassle me at any time. Maybe when I take delivery I could get a Hat, key chain or something? Anyway Copeland was a nice dealer (clean, nice service area, waiting area/amenities) the only think it lacked compared to other top rated dealers is the availability of free loaner cars as opposed to Toyota rentals. This would be a plus for me since Copeland is an hour away for me. More
This was my first visit to Copeland. I was looking for a black 2010 RAV 4. They had just what I was looking for and coming to an agreement on price went smoothly.
