We were in the market for a new family car in the same category as our Volvo XC70. After test driving various SUV's including the RAV4 and Highlander, we then noticed the Venza. We had visited Copeland once before and looked briefly at the Venza. We had leased a Corolla from them back in December and were very pleased with both the Sales and Service. Similar to other reviewers, we also checked out other dealerships and yes, they try to say and do many things to lock you into their price, but in the end, be very cautious. We ended up back at Copeland and since our Sales Person from December had left, we were referred to Joe Avilla. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and his respect for our time. He cut through all of the "typical back and forth" nonsense and got us our price on the Venza and the trade-in for our XC70. Joe was a breath of fresh air when it comes to car sales. We also worked with Tony Fontes in the finance dept. As it turns out, Tony had also worked with us back in December on the Corolla deal. We used to be a 100% Volvo family and now we are 100% Toyota. We would highly recommend both Toyota cars and the Copeland dealership. More
I just purchased a 2010 Tacoma doublecab longbed[7/19/10].I had been looking for appx 8mos.on the internet and at local dealers[4].The local quotes were too high and/or not "on the lot".I sp longbed[7/19/10].I had been looking for appx 8mos.on the internet and at local dealers[4].The local quotes were too high and/or not "on the lot".I spoke with Brian Dombrowski about a test drive and arrainged a time.I was introduced to Mike Masson[sales] and we discussed my wants and needs.Took a test trive and actually enjoyed talking with him as we drove.Absolutely no pressure to purchase.we came to a price and the deal was done.The current incentives were 3.9% or $750 cash back.I had to finance so it was the 3.9% incentive.Steve Buchanan met with me and we did the paperwork.I asked to pick up the vehicle 2 days later.No problem.When i came to pick up the vehicle Mike and Steve met me and evrything was"all set".Steve commented"I have good news for you".I found a local credit union offering the same financing[because of my great credit rating] as the Toyota incentive so we will be giving you the $750 and the 3.9% financing.They didn't have to do that and I would have never known.What can I say!!!! These folks are great.I live over 75 miles away and would drive there in a minute to buy from these folks.I got the lowest price and actually enjoyed the entire process.Thanks,Mike,Steve,Brian,and Ivan. Stan was great!! I shopped around for my Camry and Copeland by far was the best!! It was a great experience and I love my new car. You sales staff is execellent! Your service department is a huge part of why I bought another car from Copeland. My 4 year old Prius has 142,000 on it so you know I am in often. My sales person was very friendly, knowlegeable and if he didn't have an answer he found out. This is not my sales persons fault, but I really do wish I could have gotten more for my car, but I did get mo didn't have an answer he found out. This is not my sales persons fault, but I really do wish I could have gotten more for my car, but I did get more than another dealership offered me, but not as much as a toyota dealership in attleboro offered me for my car. But the difference in price on the vechicle being purchased made up for that. Rich, my sales person, was fantastic! My girlfriend is going to be looking for a new car in the next 12 months, and I am going to recommend she work with Rich at Copeland. More
I spent 10 months looking for a new Tacoma with a double cab and a Long bed. I knew what kind of truck I wanted, and as a young teacher not having a lot of money, I vigorously shopped for the best deal I c cab and a Long bed. Not finding sufficient selection near my home around western Mass, I headed east to check out the big dealerships of Ira and Boch Toyota. Both of these despicable dealerships treat people like dirt, and will say anything just to get you through the door. They lie, cheat, and lie some more just to squeeze every buck out of you. In the case of Ira they quote me a price, an APR rate, and a price for my trade-in. I drove two hours from western mass, only to have them try and bait-and-switch me into a lease! I was so mad I could have spit blood!(read my Ira of Milford review for more details on that story). With this last defeat I was getting ready to hold off buying my new first car, buy used, and just prattle on in this miserable world. That afternoon, dad suggested I take a look at Copeland. We called them on the phone, and gave them what I could pay for a new truck. They made no promises, but told me honestly over the phone what they could do. We went down and met Ivan who was the sales manager we had talked to over the phone. And he had Joe Avilia show me the two trucks that fit the criteria of what I was looking for. Joe was an affable guy who was smart, funny, and charismatic. He listened keenly to what I was telling him (I was so used to repeating myself with salesmen that this was a tremendous relief), and he appreciated the work and consideration that my wife and I had put towards buying a new car. Seeing that we were still a few hundred dollars apart on price, he came up with a solution so ridiculously simple it was brilliant. With the deal in hand, I reminisced with him and Laura from finance about the horror stories I endured at the other dealerships. We all had a good laugh at the other guy’s expense, and I drove away happily in my brand new black Toyota Tacoma. The people at Copeland Toyota are awesome. And I will fondly remember the happy end to my quest for a new car, and will always recommend Joe Avilia to friends and family who are looking to buy a toyota. More
People are very courteous and friendly. Quality of work is always correct and if and when anything is discovered, it is always discussed prior to doing any repair work. From start to finish Copeland Toyota blew their competition away in every area of the sales process. In fact it was so good upon receiving it I emailed him to say I'd be by the next day for a test drive and if I liked the 2010 HIGHLANDER I'd buy it. So the next day I went for a test drive feeling pretty good about Copeland Toyota due to the previous day's experience which exceeded my expectations. Paul had William Mok a Sales Consultant work with me as we went for the test drive. During our ride William explained the many features of the HIGHLANDER and as we pulled back into the Copeland lot I told William I wanted to buy the vehicle. And that's when William started to put on a show for me with the way he multi-tasked me through the paperwork process to ensure I got the correct price along with financing, insurance, registration,sticker and a full tank of gas. He once again on behalf of Copeland exceeded my expectations which is hard to do and Copeland Toyota did it twice in less than 24 hours thereby leaving their competition in the dust. More
