Stinks. Money minded desperate salesmen and their managers. I have never seen a cheap dealership like this one! They are just so pushy that they don't care about what you like or want. I was greeted promptly, pleasantly and professionally upon arrival. I requested the 10,000 mile dealer plus service even though I'd initially made the appt for the basic 10,000 mile service and they che upon arrival. The waiting area was clean, pleasant and comfortable (it would have been nice to have their "cafe" available for a snack on a Saturday morning, but coffee was available, so that was appreciated). Prior to our visit I asked for an internet quote on a 2010 Highlander SE. This was our first visit to Copeland Toyota and our first Toyota vehicle. Prior to our visit I asked for an internet quote on a 2010 Highlander SE. The quote came quickly and to my surprise it had all the facts we wanted to know. Selling price, discounted price, rebates, and financing incentives. The quote also included a reminder for sales tax, registration with fee cost, and document fees with the cost clearly stated. Internet quotes from competing dealers did not list half of the information Copeland did. We dealt with salesman William Mok who was very personable and knowledgeable. He showed us a couple of vehicles and we took a test drive. He explained the model and the features to great extent. He expressed his own experience with the product and we could see he was truly genuine and honest. We did not feel pressured at all for a sale by anyone at the dealership. We decided to purchase the 2010 Highlander and the next stop was the Business Manager Tony Fontes. He asked for our details and stated it would take about 15 minutes to locate the best financing. We had mentioned that we have 2.74 APR through our credit union and asked if he could locate a match. He found a match and it was Toyota Financial Services. We signed the papers and waited for our vehicle to best prepped. Yes, we were going to drive the vehicle home the same day! It was a holiday to boot. When we took delivery I noticed a very small blemish on the bumper. We did not notice this earlier as it had not been washed at that time. Sales Manager Max Reed came to view the blemish and offer solutions. He offered money off, but I asked if he could throw a set of mud flaps on the vehicle instead as I could live with the tiny blemish. No problem was the answer. William Mok was upset to see the blemish and wanted to make sure we were happy. He contacted the parts department to see if the mud flaps were in-stock and then the service department to see if they could install them at this time. They were in-stock and the service department installed them 15 minutes before closing so we would be happy with the vehicle. So, would we recommend Copeland Toyota to friends? "YES" We would purchase another vehicle through Copeland and William Mok? "YES" We enjoyed dealing with William and the entire staff at Copeland. My wife and I could not see going to another dealership when the process was so easy here and the price was great! More

FULL REVIEW: On the basis of reviews and a neighbor's prior experience, we headed to Copeland Toyota even though we have several Toyota dealerships closer to home. Initial contact was made via the internet, but no negotiation (our choice). We headed to the dealership for a pre-arranged test drive and we were met by Tim. For a sales guy, Tim was experienced enough to present a casual, relaxed demeanour which took a lot of our apprehension out of the buying process. Test drive complete, we sat down at the desk to begin the expected arduous negotiation. Except it wasn't arduous or stressful at all. OK they made a token gesture at playing the 'game' with their first offer, but once I outlined my expectations based on internet research etc, they took just a few minutes more to come up with a fair offer for both my trade and the new vehicle. Off to the dreaded finance dept to close the deal, Tony was equally pleasant if just a little less relaxed than Tim. Tony informed us of a couple of options to protect our new car, which we declined. He reinforced his view that we should at least consider the extended warranty at a 'discounted' price and then left the room to give us time to talk it over. On his return, we declined once more - signed the papers and not too long after were driving away in our new car. (Pre Delivery inspection had already been completed). SUMMARY: Car dealerships have a bad rep, deservedly so in many cases based on my experience. Copeland Toyota made the buying process about as pleasant as it could be. The hard sell and arrogance was refreshingly absent from the entire process. Well Done!! More

I am happy to see the advancement that Jay has made with Copeland. When he was in sales I always enjoyed his personality and sense of humor and enjoyed bartering with him. Sam and James were a pleasure to work with for the first time. Sam is a real gentleman and a very kind sincere person.He made me feel like I got a very fair deal and I never felt like I was being pressured or hasled. James Abramson is a fine young man who has excellent people skills, was very helpful and took a sincere personal interest, contacting me several times after we had signed papers.Hold on to him. Laura was very personable and extremely fair in the options I added on through her. Your web page is outstanding in its appearance, set up, and ease of use. I went on at least 10 other web pages during my search for a new car and 2nd place to yours was a very distant 2nd place. The web page manager immediately offered me a very attractive and low price and did not try to play games with me. he was very up front. this was not true of any other web manager that I dealt with.
