I made a phone call to inquire about this situation and Terry Hitchcock informed me that I shouldn't pay attention to to the dashboard and that it is never truly accurate and told me that there was nothing the dealership could do. A couple of months go by and there were 2 instances that my car ran out of gas but the gauge and dashboard indicated there was plenty of gas (1/4-1/2 tank). After the first time I was under the impression that maybe it was my fault but after nearly deadly experience of getting side swiped after my car had ran out of gas at the intersection of 95 & 495, I knew something was up. This prompted me to have another discussion with the dealership. I called them brought in my car for an oil change and asked them to look at a wire dangling from my back bumper, an oil stain that came with the car along with my gas gauge. They told me they couldn't repair the wire and it came from natural wear and tear and proceeded to tell me nothing was wrong with the gauge. Fast forward another couple of months I get a notice from Subaru about a recall affecting the gas gauge and the dashboard. I got on the phone and discussed my frustration in a calm cool manner. During the conversation Terry informed that they weren't able to fix the recall yet. I had a funny feeling that this dealership wasn't being upfront or honest about actually addressing my issues I presented them. This prompted me to call another dealership, which I did and they told me to drop off my car and they would fix the recall. This frustrated me because Terry told me the dealership wasn't capable of fixing the recall or the other issues. I told him I had contacted another dealership and they said they could fix it that day, Terry began to get increasingly frustrated and began yelling and swearing at me and eventually slammed the phone telling me to go F*** myself. I called back and tried to talk to management about this lack of customer service and was hung up on and all my cars were ignored after their service manager swore and screamed at me. I strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere because the dealership will lie to you about service that are performed and have no idea what customer service is. More

I was sent an Email from Subaru telling me I could download a free update but attempted to do it twice and couldn’t succeed. Asked the dealership if they could get this done and they too were unsuccessful. A little disappointed that they are not trained to get this done for customers. More

The service manager on duty saw her right away, diagnosed the problem correctly in a minute, took the car right into a bay , and technicians got to work to correct the problem. In five minutes all was done. The service manager and the team members who helped were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and effective. Their quick work made our day. After calling AAA, I called Beard Subaru for help getting a new tire. I was 75 miles from home and very nervous about what to do. From the first phone call asking Beard Subaru for help until I drove off their lot with a new tire I was treated wonderfully! The service department treated me as if I was a Beard customer. They were all professional, courteous and made my experience so much better! I want everyone to know that Beard Subaru cares about its customers and I truly appreciate the great way I was treated that day! More

Terrible Service. Lack of communication. Not trustworthy Had an appointment for break check-up service at 1 pm. Car was checked-in and the say it will take about 1 hours. 2.5 Hour later I go and check and a Had an appointment for break check-up service at 1 pm. At no point nobody bothered to say that the service was not going to take 1 hour as they initially told me so I could have decide to wait or postponed. After 3.5 hours waiting I go and check again. This time I went to the Xpress Service area and the guy on the Xpress service window just said: "I'm Only the Xpress service guy. Go inside and find out" He was not doing anything and could easily have opened his door and find out specially when a customer is being there for all that time. At about 3 hours and 50 minutes I come back out and see that my car is outside. I wait 10 more minutes and nobody comes and get it. Only when I went to service guy and asked he said oh yes it is done as I stay there to pay. They Charged me 350.00 to change the REAR pads. The pads cost 99.00. I think they basically robbed me. Also, on the 9th of September I was there for oil change and general service. On the report, they wrote that my rear breaks where 8 out of 10. I drove about 3000 Miles and today they told that my rear break pads where metal on metal. That means that they either lie when they told me I had 8 out 10 on my pads or they just change my ok pads for no other reason than to take my money. More

I was greeted with a sm I needed an oil service for my Subaru and decided to try Beard Subaru. I arrived with no appointment on Friday June 9, 2017 . I was greeted with a smile and welcome from Jim Welch. He was very helpful explaining the service and indicated that the service would be complete within one hour. I was directed to the customer waiting area. The customer waiting area was very comfortable with coffee, snacks, cold drinks, T.V. and two computer terminals. In less than an hour Jim came into the service area and told me the work was complete. Jim then explained what was done in the service and asked if I had any questions. I will use Dick Beard for all my Subaru servicing. The Subaru employees were very professional and helpful. I really did not expect that the no appointment oil service would be a no hassle and pleasant experience .. More

I believe I worked with Rob today, but want to add Jennifer as well; both were so helpful and welcoming. I was impressed with the inspection of many other components besides doing the oil change. The mechanics at Beard have saved my beloved 2004 Forester to be enjoyed for many more years. I will be going there for all service. More
