Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that this visit required a few visits to remedy. I have reviewed your work orders and I apologize that Everton missed the fact that wheel bearings are a powertrain and not a 3/36 item. Please know that we are paid for both warranty work as well as customer pay work, so there would be no incentive for your advisor to not cover something under warranty. I know the tendency can sometimes be to think the worst but that is not the case and certainly not with our staff here. Hi Bryan, Thanks for the response. Honestly, I'm less concerned about the oversight on the warranty than I am about the rushed / incomplete diagnostics on the car that required multiple return visits. The car is my pregnant wife's daily driver, and I was uncomfortable with her taking it to work after picking it up from Copeland Subaru. I drove it for several days after the third visit to make sure all was well before she started taking it for her commute again. Customers should be able to trust after they spend over $1k on repairs at a Subaru dealer (who says the car is fixed) that the car is safe and ready to go. I didn't feel that way after my experience at Copeland Subaru.

That is good to hear, but even before you get the additional staff in place, I'd urge you to slow down and take the time necessary to treat customers and their vehicle with the care they deserve. I would have been much less upset with my experience if the repairs had taken a little longer initially, and I didn't have to keep bringing the car back. My goal in all of this was to make sure my wife had a safe car to commute in. She drives ~50 miles each way. The first time we picked the car up from Copeland Subaru, I felt unsafe on the short drive back to my house. The second time I picked the car up, the drive home felt better, but a drive on the highway to my job started to feel unsafe. As I mentioned before, I didn't feel confident after the third pickup, despite all of the work that we'd paid for. Regardless of staffing, Copeland Subaru should take the time to make sure vehicles leaving the shop are safe to drive, even if that means taking longer to complete the repairs in the interim before new staff are hired.
