They and other people at Copland were genuinely concerned and helpful during our time there. Bob and Sandy McLuckie More
I had my front brakes repaired at Copeland. After the repair, the new driver side brake made a clicking noise at low speed braking. Copeland stated that the brakes were fine but quoted me $3500 to replace most of the front suspension. When I took the car to my home Subaru dealer, they told me the calipers hadn’t been lubricated when first installed, and that that caused the noise. They did that lubrication job for me for $95. Either your technician is incompetent or the dealership is trying to sell unnecessary repairs. More
We think the service center is top of the line. No complaints with the facility or the service. The only complaint is that our car had a nail in the tire and instead of fixing it locally we took it to complaints with the facility or the service. Bad choice -I think the fee was more than twice what it would have cost to fix elsewhere. More
My first experience with Copeland was pretty good. I brought my car in with a check engine light and they sent me away with a loaner until they told me the CEL was off and nothing further could be done. brought my car in with a check engine light and they sent me away with a loaner until they told me the CEL was off and nothing further could be done. My second experience was rougher. I brought the car back three times to deal with a shimmy at high speeds. The first two times I felt like I was brushed off. They didn't take the car up on the highway before informing me it was ready to go. All told, the car was in and out of their dealership for almost a week, before it was finally fixed (no loaner this time), and they only test drove it on the highway the third time I came in to visit. Also worth noting is that they suggested I replace a wheel bearing at a cost of ~$550, which I later discovered was under warranty. When I asked them about it, they removed it from the bill, but customers should be able to trust that the dealer will be honest about warranteed parts up front, without the customer double checking and doing the leg work.
