Clean up your crew. Second experience trying to rent a vehicle from this location, and sad to say it never improved. The rental agent, Sam, had to be called to his desk MULTIPLE times, and finally showed his face after 20 minutes. Did not go over contract or rules, and neglected to inspect vehicle before letting it go. There were pen marks on the ceiling. My second attempt, same scenario. No rental agent anywhere to be found. Asked the gals in the cafe to help locate him, and they rudely replied that we needed to leave because they couldn't help us. I made my way over to the door greeter, Rita, who gladly paged him. She then did so two more times before we saw him. In which he took my information, threw the car key at me, and said goodbye. I asked him to inspect the vehicle with me, and he tossed a clipboard with another contract on it at me, saying it was my responsibility. I'm pretty positive that is his job. So I proceeded outside with this clipboard and did Sam's job for him as he is obviously incapable. I wrote down my damage, and returned the clipboard. Wonderful atmosphere in the dealership, but never in my life have I been treated so rudely! I was sure to tell my family and friends of my experience, and they relayed it to theirs. Between Sam and the cafe girls, I'm not sure how you have any business at all. More

He never went over any of the paperwork. He had the worst attitude I have ever seen. The alcohol stench was almost unbearable. And when he pulled the car out for us he didn't even have the audacity to personally hand over the keys. He left them in the car and walked off without doing a damage check on the vehicle either. Someone pushed a button On the evening before Christmas Eve, my family and I gathered up to drive out, only to find that my wives 2014 Sienna would not shift out of park. Thi On the evening before Christmas Eve, my family and I gathered up to drive out, only to find that my wives 2014 Sienna would not shift out of park. This was the second time in 6 months that has happened. The first time the issue unexpectedly resolved itself, and no work was needed at the time. When we had the van in the service department, the tech said he had no explanation for the transmission to lock, and if it happened again, major equipment replacement may be needed. So Christmas Eve comes and again, the transmission locks itself into park. After getting the van back down to the service department, I explained that this had happened in the past. The van was left with the service department, and we got a rental for my wife who was leaving town the next day. After the weekend, the service tech spent several hours, trouble shooting the problem. What finally was discovered was new to everyone. Our vehicle was equipped with a factory, handicapped assist seat. Somehow, that seat had gotten moved, and was no longer in the forward locked position, which locked the transmission in park. Unfortunately, because this was human error, and not a mechanical malfunction, none of the several hours of service work, nor our rental car where covered under our Toyota warranty. This left us with an unexpected bill of nearly $700. The great people at Toyota, where gracious enough to cover, the service chargers for my family. Thank you so much to the people at Coos Bay Toyota. Your dedication to your customers service will not be forgotten. More

Great place to do business - Sales, Service or lunch Buying my new Tacoma was a long process and Summer was so helpful through the whole time. I always got new literature as it became available. Once t Buying my new Tacoma was a long process and Summer was so helpful through the whole time. I always got new literature as it became available. Once the purchase was complete, I then found the service department to be just as helpful taking care of my Toyota Care service starting with the helpful reminders and quick service via the appointments. During our wait times while my truck was being serviced we often enjoyed lunch in the Smiling Dog Café. Everyone with whom I have come in contact has been helpful and friendly right down to the crew that has done the free, while you wait, car wash. More

The dealership office person, Andrea, answering the phone AFTER HOURS, stayed with us, and got the General Manager, Glen to try and troubleshoot with me on the phone. Glen suggested that we drive back to Coos Bay so he could take a look at what the computer said the problem was. When we determined that the van needed ignition coil repair and the service department would not be open until Monday morning, Glen offered us a loaner SUV (there were 5 of us). On Monday morning, Paul called me by 8:30 saying they had found the problem, outlining what could be done, and asking what I wanted to do. When I said, repair it, they said it would be completed by Tuesday noon. Tuesday morning by 8:30, Paul called to say the van was ready for pick up. I drove from my home in Grants Pass, Oregon to the dealership in Coos Bay, Oregon and picked up the van. I offered to pay for the use of the loaner SUV and Glen said that was not necessary. WOW, this was service beyond the call of duty! Well Done! and thank you so much Coos Bay Toyota! More
