OK they checked it out and told me that with the palmary check that they could not find any thing wrong ,but for another $200.00 they could run more in-depth tests. and that the unit was not under warranty even thought it monitored a internal very expensive part the (Oil Pump) which if fails would leave Jeep responsible for FIXING the 3.7 Engine.- - - $3000.00 for repairs! ----$300.00 CAR RENTAL and the in convince of not having my SUV. #2 Talked to Kevein Devoy we agreed that I would pick up a new sensor and that he could pay me up to $100.00 for getting and installing it. Nothing about the glass repair. #3 Part of the purchase agreement was also to have the dings taken care of on the front window by by your so called glass expert, Well after several attempts on my part to have this fixed and talking to the Dealer it was agreed that the expert ,would fix the window at 10.30am .The glass expert did not show until 12.30pm, Then preceded to make my windshield worse than what it was, I told Jesse Jagunich, that I was not happy with the workmanship. but nothing was done. In my opinion I will recommend to all my friends, family, any one that will listen to me to take their car to a different dealer, More
After comparison shopping online for a few weeks, my wife and I finally decided to make the plunge and purchase a new vehicle. We were looking for a low mileage Town & Country or Grand Caravan for our growin and I finally decided to make the plunge and purchase a new vehicle. We were looking for a low mileage Town & Country or Grand Caravan for our growing family. We stopped in two other dealerships and neither offered us anything for our 2005 Trailblazer. So we went to Coon Rapids and found a 2011 Grand Caravan on the lot with everything we wanted. Alex took the time to get to know us and he really wanted to get the sale done. Coon Rapids gave us $1,000 more for our trade-in and we ended up spending with a monthly far less than the other 2 dealerships had offered for similar vehicles. I've already recommeded this dealership to multiple friends and family members. Just wish they had a referral bonus program. More
My wife and I wanted to buy a used car from a dealership because we felt they would look the car over and correct any "reasonable" items or at least advise us of them. NO WAY! They claimed there were no e because we felt they would look the car over and correct any "reasonable" items or at least advise us of them. NO WAY! They claimed there were no engine codes in memory and yet the very next day we started getting them. The car ran great when we bought it, but that was because the dealer always made sure it had been running for several minutes when we drove it. The can ran absolutely AWFUL when cold, but we didn't find that out until the next day. ABSOLUTELY DECEITFUL! One of the mirror motors didn't work. We accepted that. The second day, the speedometer quit working, but to their credit we worked that out, but--they gave me a price to fix it, then jacked it up when I went to pay for it. I refused and the used car manager got angry. He tried to bully and intimidate us. YOU BOUGHT THIS CAR AS IS!! Yes, this is true, but we trusted you to sell cars that made sense. The sticker on the window said that the car had been "INSPECTED". Inspected for what? They knew something was wrong with the car and lied about it. I have had this car in the shop several times to fix a problem related to the fault codes that appeared after 24 hours. As it turns out, we: replaced the aftermost O2 sensor, cleaned the throttle body, replaced plugs and wires and each time the problem came back. It turns out the engine had a bad head gasket and was leaking coolant into the cylinders--something THEY should have been able to figure out. Why? Because they are a DEALER, this is their ONLY BUSINESS and they are supposed to be THE EXPERTS! Instead of taking a car in on trade, washing it and putting it back out on the lot, we trusted them to provide a reasonably functional automobile. The head gasket replacement is about $2,000--something I hadn't budgeted into this purchase. NEVER EVER buy a car from these guys! RUN AWAY! This is exactly why people HATE CAR DEALERSHIPS. Next stop? A call to the Better Business Bureau. More
The service department was being paid to do oil changes and other regular maintenance, by a purchased oil change package with inspections that we bought when we purchased the vehicle. They charged this co and other regular maintenance, by a purchased oil change package with inspections that we bought when we purchased the vehicle. They charged this company for inspections that were obviously not completed, as our brakes failed and we had to have an independent mechanic take care of the brakes for us. They stated that if the dealership would have taken the wheel off to look at the brakes, which according to the independent mechanic is a must for a visual inspection, they would have seen that rotor was about to fail. Since then we have had to make sure the service writer writes down things we think need to be inspected because on previous oil changes the technicians have not done so. The final straw was the fact they tried to charge me for something without even divulging that there was going to be an hours worth of shop labor just to look at it, and I do mean just look at it without an authorization to conduct any repairs. Now I just may have complained to them and the service manager about an hours charge if they told me about it but I wouldn't be a irate as I am bout the omission of the costs. In summation is the sales department was great but don't ever go there for service. More
