I am shopping for a new car with several makes and models in mind. After talking with Antoinette, Continental is one of three dealerships I am considering because she was extremely knowledgeable of cars and in mind. After talking with Antoinette, Continental is one of three dealerships I am considering because she was extremely knowledgeable of cars and even explained some aspects of financing that was good news to me! Her friendly personality and honest answers sold me, so if I do decide on a Toyota, I will definitely buy from Continental. More
I highly recommend Continental Toyota Scion of Countryside, Illinois because efficiency, professionalism, and customer service are their highest priorities. I have visited the dealership on severa Countryside, Illinois because efficiency, professionalism, and customer service are their highest priorities. I have visited the dealership on several occasions with my 2008 Toyota Corolla LE and have had all positive experiences. Each time I drove right up to the service doors (without an appointment) and a customer service representative was there to meet me immediately. A service ticket was written up, an estimated waiting time given, and when the work was completed I was greeted in the waiting room by a service rep and escorted to the cashier. The work is fast, efficient, and they manage to treat all their customers this way in spite of being very, very busy. The waiting room is large and comfortable with a lounge and TV, magazine and newspaper rack, complimentary coffee and ice cold bottled water, and warm freshly baked cookies. The facilities are extremely clean and welcoming. All of the scheduled maintainence work I have had done there has been completely satisfactory. Every thing is explained to me and my vehicle is checked out thoroughly. They keep up with scheduled maintainence, plus they are very diligent in checking the vehicle for other issues. It is an outstanding dealership, dedicated to keeping your vehicle running for years and years and miles and miles. I'm 58 and have had numerous experinces with dealerships through the years, and I can honestly say Continental Toyota is the very best on every level among them all...bar none. The sales staff and other employees are friendly and extremely professional and knowledgable They will be moving to a larger, brand new facility close by on La Grange Road in mid-July 2009 and you can bet the same customer service and quality work they offer at the old location will be there only on a grander scale. I would never go to another dealership for service or for new car sales. In fact, my wife will be in the market for a new car this year and the only place she will want to go is Continental Toyota of Countryside. I'm a first-time Toyota owner, and so glad that I am, and so glad I discovered this dealership. It is truly distinctive, and sets the bar for quality sales, service, and customer satisfaction. More
Contacted a number of dealers in Western Suburbs of Chicago and asked for quote for a new Camry. Where I received a few e-quotes from a handful of dealers, Continental was the one that followed throug Chicago and asked for quote for a new Camry. Where I received a few e-quotes from a handful of dealers, Continental was the one that followed through with phone call and emails, but not in a pushy manner. When I contacted them for more specific information, they were appreciative of my busy schedule and made themselves available at any time of day or night. When I finally had the opportunity to visit their showroom, I found it very bright and everyone very professional. The negotation phase was non-stressful and I believe I ended up with a very competitive price. Continental followed up with me a few days later, and a few weeks later, to ensure that I was still pleased with my vehicle. More
This dealership is notorious for ripping people off and lying to them. Do not buy a toyota at all. I learned the hard way. My toyota 2005 corolla at 50,000 miles had a bad ecm (electroni control module) lying to them. Do not buy a toyota at all. I learned the hard way. My toyota 2005 corolla at 50,000 miles had a bad ecm (electroni control module) which is basically the computer that controls the whole car and a bad fuel injector. I asked for the bad parts and they said they didn't have them. They refused to give me my bad parts. They told me this was all from a bad tank of gas cuz the smell of the gas was weak. I put in Shell gas all the time. I put in a higher octane gas all the time. I do not believe these liars for a minute. I called Toyota and even met with their factory respresentative which was a complete witch. Her name is Jennifer Hoffman. She makes nothing but excuses. If you try to reason with her she just says we are not paying for it period. My car was 1100.00 to fix. Also the service rep John is a jerk. And the Service Manager Roy is full of crap. I learned do not buy a toyota. They are made very cheap and you have no recourse if something goes wrong. The dealership tells you oh well and Toyota corporation says it's all up to the dealership. I will go back to American made cars for now on. Foreign made cars used to be good, but now they are just made with cheap parts that go bad. Again I am warning everyone do not buy or deal with Continental Toyota. More
On December 19th, 2008, my mother was in a severe accident in her brand new 2008 Toyota Camry XLE. She was hit head on by a drunk driver. The car was totalled with only 4,026 miles on it, but held accident in her brand new 2008 Toyota Camry XLE. She was hit head on by a drunk driver. The car was totalled with only 4,026 miles on it, but held up amazingly, preventing any injuries to my mother. When I contacted Continental to advise them of the situation, not only did they express great concern for my mother, they went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of beginnig to end to get her a replacement Camry and made sure she was satisfied every step of the way. Not only was she pleased with the service she received the first time around, but even more please with the second. Based on the high marks she gave them, I will be bringing my future business to Continental Toyota as well. More
I went to Continental Toyota on Dec. 8,2008. Raul Figuera was my salesman, he is the best. He always makes time for me and greets me with a handshake and answers all of my questions. He is excellent and I wo was my salesman, he is the best. He always makes time for me and greets me with a handshake and answers all of my questions. He is excellent and I would reccomend everyone to go to Continental Toyota for the best deal and service. They go the extra mile to please and satisfy you, also want to praise Joseph Miglio, and Roxann Seckus and Paul Dziuia in service for work well done. I am treated with royalty everytime I go to Continental. I have purchased many cars and was never treated as wonderful at any dealer ship as I am treated at Continental Toyota and I will tell all my friends and always buy my cars at Continental Toyota for the best deal, also Jacqueline Dybas was very informative, helpful, patient, and very polite to me. Ed wilczek was very knowledgible, patient, and very helpful with regards to helping me pair my phone to the car. The Rav 4 is the best car I ever purchased. Chuck was very helpful, polite and knowligible with any questions I had. I never new buying a SUV at a dealer ship could be so rewarding and Continental Toyota made that happen. I am very satisfied with my deal and service at Continental Toyota. I am not very good at expressing my feelings on paper and I want this review to be accepted or I will be very disappointed if the people that made me happy and satisfied do not get the recognition they deserve. A couple of weeks ago I went into Continental Toyota, pre-approved, to purchase a 2006 Subaru Tribeca. At that time I walked out with a stack of signed paperwork at an acceptable rate and payment. Ton pre-approved, to purchase a 2006 Subaru Tribeca. At that time I walked out with a stack of signed paperwork at an acceptable rate and payment. Tonight I spoke with Roxanne in finance, who called to tell me I had to come in to re-sign my papers because Capital One wouldn't finance the gap coverage. I immediately followed up with Capital One to confirm this, they agreed, and then confirmed that I had been approved at the rate I initially agreed to. That is what is on my contract. So I went into the dealership where a man named Chris presented me with a new set of paperwork that he told me I had to sign which had a higher rate, higher sale price, and higher payment. I told him no way in xxxx and walked out. My "new contract" should have been identical in every way, save the deducted gap coverage. This is a WELL DOCUMENTED SCAM that dealers use, banking that you won't do your homework. I already confirmed that Capital One approved my financing before I drove in. And besides that, I was pre-approved before I ever even came in. I plan to contact the BBB and the Attorney General's office first thing in the morning. I am truly disgusted. In this economy, the day before Christmas Eve. Those people should be ashamed. Truly ashamed. This is abhorant behavior. More

Customer Service truly is dead. I talked to Asst. Service manager, John on the phone and he made it sound all easy to get service with Continental, and thats what I was expecting when I made the 20 m Service manager, John on the phone and he made it sound all easy to get service with Continental, and thats what I was expecting when I made the 20 mile drive out of downtown Chicago to visit this dealer. Mind you, I have a Toyota Platinum Care extended warranty on my 4runner, so after arriving at the dealer, John asks me to sign to authorize $120+ to have the mechanic even start looking at my truck...$120+, are you kidding me, I have purchased Toyotas top of the line extended warranty, and there is a major issue wrong w/ the rear axle in my truck and you want to charge me to have the tech look under the car. John should have been explicitly clear about this over the phone, before I wasted my time, money, fuel, energy and effort to drive out of the city to try his service dept. Terrible expectation set by John and terrible customer service. John had a great chance to earn a new customer for service, and he and Continental Toyota blew totally blew!! I would not recommend anyone to go to this dealer. More
