I came in on Tuesday afternoon and left later that day with the car I came to see. The beginning of my search: A few weeks earlier I found a Toyota Prius that I was interested in at another Toyota with the car I came to see. I told them what I was willing to spend for it and they tried to get me into another car we talked about in the beginning even though after test driving it I was very interested in the Prius. I searched the internet for a Prius and I found a great price at Continental Toyota. Of the dealers in the Chicago area they had 4 Prius's available and all at great prices. I came in cold without talking to anybody Jim Francis introduced himself to us. I was very comfortable talking to Jim, his insight and easy going nature made the transaction. We drove around in a golf cart(all dealerships should have) to look to see if there were any new Prius on the lot. We came to the car I was looking for and it was in great shape. We drove it around and I knew I found the car that I wanted. We talked a little bit because I knew that the price was more than fair(more on that later). With a handshake we had a deal and I was very happy. If it didn't work out they still had 3 other Prius's for sale that met my need in mileage and price. The all around service was great. I left with a clean 2010 car. I will be keeping Jim's business card in my wallet and his phone number in my contacts. I will be recommending others to him and Continental Toyota. His experience and professionalism was first rate and made this transaction simple. You can relate to him and he will understand where you are coming from. Bill in financing is cool dude too(he knows good music!) The end result Continental Toyota sold me a 2010 Prius with 12,000 less miles on it for 4k less than what the other dealership had for a sale. I went in for a transmission flush on April 23 at Continental Toyota, 6701 S La Grange Rd, Hodgkins, IL 60525 and was ripped off. I was driving from Indianapolis to Carol Stream IL and I-294 wa Continental Toyota, 6701 S La Grange Rd, Hodgkins, IL 60525 and was ripped off. I was driving from Indianapolis to Carol Stream IL and I-294 was at a stand still due to an accident and there was a 2 ½ hour delay. Knowing the area I decided to stop in for a transmission flush. The SA was open and honest. The transmission flush was done quickly and I paid just over 155 dollars. A few weeks later I was driving and the transmission was not shifting properly from 4th to 5th gear and I was getting a funny smell. I pulled over at the next exit and found a repair shop. The service tech asked me did I every change the fluids in the transmission, I said yes. I went to the glove box and pulled the paperwork. The service tech said it was not done properly. I was pissed. The transmission fluid was a dark gray and was smelling like burnt eggs. So I paid the repair shop to flush the transmission again. I sat in the garage and watched the tech do the flush. I called Continental Toyota three different times and left a message for the general manager and service manager. No one called. First Time and last time. More
I believe the Continental Toyota Service Dept. is top-notch. I took the car in for a thumping sound that increased with speed. The report was one slightly out-of-round tire and they asked if they could rotate it to the rear to reduce the thumping since I indicated I wanted to return to the tire installer. Finally, they road tested and reported significant improvement which I concurred with that assessment. The service charge was reasonable with just the cost of the rotation and technicians road test time; I believe it was for 1/2 hour. Can't say enough for their willingness to trouble-shoot my complaint. More
This is my first and last car from this dealership. The customer service is not there at all. I was treated horribly from start to finish. The price lured me in and I did buy the new RAV4 Ltd. for $500 - customer service is not there at all. I was treated horribly from start to finish. The price lured me in and I did buy the new RAV4 Ltd. for $500 - 600 over invoice. They do not tell the truth and they make things up in order to get you to buy the car and afterwards. Its like pulling teeth to get anything out of them. The free cargo net I was promised and I did finally get it by reminding them several times. I have some minor scratches and they will not arrange for another dealer to fix it in my area. 2+ hrs. away from their dealership. They said I'd have to bring it to them only. I can't honestly recommend this business. The only upside was I got the car I had wanted and at a very good price. They demanded my SSN even though I was paying by a personal check. I think that credit checks are for financed deals AND SSN's are NOT required when paying by cash or check. This is NOT homeland security or the Patriot Act requirements. They are so full of it. My suspicions were right all along about the car business. Liars and crooks. More

LATER discovered omitted any data on the warranty that I'd paid for (service intervals, etc) and did not activate the equivalent of On Star, but I get a bill now 1 year later. Pretty facility. More
