Leasing at Continental Toyota - Dean Rio I went to Continental Toyota with the idea of window shopping. I was greeted by Dean Rio who was very personable & knowledgeable about their product I went to Continental Toyota with the idea of window shopping. I was greeted by Dean Rio who was very personable & knowledgeable about their product and how it could work for me. I had been to other dealerships just window shopping & had did research online about the vehicle I was looking at and the value of my trade-in. Continental gave me the higher price of the vehicle I was trading in & Dean was very knowledgable about buying vs leasing. After talking with Dean, I decided to lease for the first time & I'm very happy the the decision thus far. Dean also showed me a lot of the little nuances of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid that saved me a lot of time learning it on my own so that was a big plus also. Used car buying experience a breeze ... ...thanks to a great salesperson. This was our first time at this dealership, as we were looking for a "Certified" Toyota Camry that we were inter ...thanks to a great salesperson. This was our first time at this dealership, as we were looking for a "Certified" Toyota Camry that we were interested in checking out after sourcing on Cars.com. I must admit, after not being in the market for a used car for over 12 years, I wasn't looking forward to the shopping experience. That all changed when we found an XLE on the lot that we wanted to take for a test drive, walked into the showroom, and met Antionette. Talk about no pressure! She didn't ask where else we had been shopping, what we were looking to spend or tried to upsell us into another model—or a new Camry. Instead, she took us through all the new bells and whistles of the 2015 Camry XLE versus our 1998 Camry XLE. During the test drive, my wife and I ended up doing all the talking. Once again, to her credit, Antionette let us explore the car at our own pace and didn't say much, other than when we asked her questions. After the test drive, we returned to the showroom to pull up the CarFax, service records and all pertinent information we were interested in. Not once, did she pressure us to pull the trigger. In fact, at one point, she left her desk to give my wife and I the space we needed to discuss the xxxxxxand cons and whether or not we wanted to check out a few other XLE's at other dealerships. As it turns out, we decided to take the car. Since we weren't trading anything in, I'm sure this wasn't as stressful as it could have been, haggling over the trade-in price, etc. All in all, it was a great buying experience, made even better by Antionette. Her 16 years at Continental shows. She really knows her stuff—about Toyotas, but more importantly about people and what they're going through when they're shopping for a car. If you're in the market for a new or used car, my advice would be to walk up to the courtesy desk and ask for Antionette. You won't be disappointed. More
