We bought our first Subaru at Conley and returned there to trade. We asked about 2024 Outback’s and were told they weren’t available until 9/23. We did not receive a good price on the 2023 outback but dec to trade. We asked about 2024 Outback’s and were told they weren’t available until 9/23. We did not receive a good price on the 2023 outback but decided to purchase anyway and asked salesperson to have car ready at 4 (per his request) the next day. When we arrived he said he couldn’t complete paperwork because “the internet had been down for two hours and he was with a customer”. While we were left standing, waiting to buy a car costing over $36K another sales person explained the internet had been down 15 minutes. We then said we would let them know in the morning if we wanted the car. I found the same car at a new Subaru dealer and asked if they could match the price and trade in. Sales manager beat Conley’s price by $800 and said the car would be ready by 830am. When we arrived it seems they had 2024 Outback’s on the lot despite what we were told by Conley salesperson. We bought the 2024 for less than 2023 model because it didn’t have mud flaps. It pays to shop around. More
