I had been searching for a low mileage used car for about a week. Most other dealerships I'd visited for a test drive were a little pushy. Conklin in Hutch was very friendly and relaxed. No pressure. In November of 2009 we purchased a new 2010 GMC Terrain from Conklin Cars with Alvin as our salesman. This was just when the Terrains were coming out as it was a completely new vehicle for 2010. Alvin was very knowledgeable about this vehicle and answered all our questions. This was a very pleasant shopping experience, with the friendly and efficient staff at Conklin Cars. We also had a 2006 Honda Accord that we purchased from Conklins in November of 2005. My wife decided she would like (with winter nearing soon) a 4WD small SUV. So back to Conklins we went to look and for Alvin too. We were able to deal very easily and made a trade on a new 2010 Honda CR-V 4WD. My wife wanted a special inside/outside color combination, and within minutes Alvin was able to locate an exact vehicle for us again. The experience and knowledge and friendliness of the Conlin Cars staff is outstanding. Customer relations is #1 with Conklins, they truly want you to be happy. We were extremely pleased with our shopping experience and the efficiency of everyone in closing these sales, and very pleased with both vehicles. More

I originally spoke to a young man that had moved to McPherson after my first contact with Conklin's the October of the previous year. I was put in touch with Alvin in February 2010. Most of the communication was done by phone and email. In March when I a decided what vehicle I was interested in Alvin even brought a car to our home to test drive. After the test drive Conklin's was able to locate the exact vehicle that I specified. When it arrived from Topeka, they even volunteered to bring it to our home so that I could look at it. We decided to go to Hutch to see it. We were greeted right away and shown the Rogue. The vehicle was detailed and any marks or flaws present were made known. I was given a fair price on my trade-in. While I was taking care of the paperwork, the staff made sure my husband and daughter were right at home. My daughter was thrilled with the beverage machine as well as my husband. Rogue. Alvin was very thorough in covering all of the manuals. It took a about an hour and a half and we were on our way home in our new 2010 Nissan Rogue. I would reocommend the dealership due to the interest that the salesperson had in my needs for a car and his willingness to satisfy those needs. I live in Wichita and the Honda dealer there acted as if I that the salesperson had in my needs for a car and his willingness to satisfy those needs. Alvin located a van and had it on the lot by the time I arrived. He gave me a fair price for my trade in and called to check on the staus of the van. If anyone asks me about driving 50 miles to buy from Conklin, I will tell them to get on the highway, but call Alvin first. More

I still can't believe how easy it was to buy a car here! I had negotiated the price and everything online, then went to meet Jennifer at dealer to sign papers and pick up the car. I fully expected to get the usual "dealer" hassle, from her and her manager. Needless to say, I was more than pleasantly surprised!Everything was exactly as we had agreed to, they didn't try any "tricks", didn't ask me if I wanted any "extra's" and didn't spring any new information on me. Jennifer is a joy to work with, very pleasant and intelligent. The manager was the least "car dealer" of any manager I have ever met! I would highly recommend. Tell them you want Jennifer Oberhelman, she is fairly new, but definately deserves the business!! I will definately buy my next car here. I usually never write reviews and I never met Jennifer or anyone at Conklin prior to this purchase, so you must know I was pleased! More

Alvin has to be one of the best salesman I have ever worked with. He personally took the time to deliver my vehicle from Hutchinson to Wichita and sign the paperwork at my kitchen table. Alvin took the time to show me all the features of my new car right here in my driveway. Not once did he appear to be rushing me or acting like it was an inconvienance for him to come to me.
