Start by meeting Sarah Biggs. Sarah has several years of experience and is backed by Conklin's unparalleled guarantees and five star practices. She was very patient with me as I unintentionally gave her the standard "hard-to-get" customer approach. In hindsight, I should have been the one who worked harder at earning the opportunity to work with such a qualified professional. As I shopped other lots, she backed me up on researching the listings and the lots that I was considering. The advice she gave was absolutely geared toward helping me make the right decision (Conklin), even if that meant not buying my car from her. She thoroughly investigated and challenged all aspects of my wants and needs in a vehicle to properly qualify me for my purchase. She was able to communicate so efficiently by way of my preference to text that it was no different than communicating with a good friend through the day. That personable level of attention followed through when she went to bat for me to get me the price I needed for the car I just had to have. After the sale, she has been very responsive to any of my questions, comments, or concerns and has done all she can to assist me. This means lots of welcomed follow-up. Finance manager Paul Washburn was honest and extremely helpful in getting things done a bit quicker for me given my unique time table and juggling a lot of things. He made "signing my life away" the easiest and most stress-free and even comforting thing I've ever done. There are so many finance managers on dealer lots who are the ones to be most cautious of. Paul understood my past horrible experiences, took my comments in stride, and handled my purchase with great care. Finally, as I write this review, my car is in service under the professional care of Aaron Carter. Aaron has been excellent to work with and patient with my concerns. Given my line of work, if I'm without a car, I'm bleeding my income. He was quick to notify me of their intention to dig deeper, going above and beyond, to resolve my issue. He put me in a rental car so that I could stay on the road and not miss a second of necessary business and has provided me updates along the way so that I have a better understanding of my vehicle and what Conklin is doing to keep it running until the wheels fall off! Most people at Conklin have been around a long time and probably aren't going anywhere real soon. That means the company cares well for the faces of their business and those people ensure the proper care of their customers. That's how it should be. BUYER TIP: Save yourself the stress and headache of "shopping around". It's foolish to think that this is the standard practice in car buying. Get it right the first time and then repeat! More

Can't believe it. Brought in a car for a rattle, they said it was a loose skid plate and they put new bolts in it and was fixed. Nope, the rattle was still there. Brought it back in good faith and after an hour I was told I had a hole in my cv boot, that it was dry and as a result there was metal banging together making the noise. They would not know of any damage until they took things apart. I scheduled to have it done. Got a call after the car was brought back in and was told the axle was damaged and needed to be replaced. I asked what was the specific damage and was told there was broken teeth. Repairs were made, I paid the bill and asked for my old parts. I was suspicious and took the axle to three mechanics who could not find anything wrong or damaged. Also, the cv joint was lubricated with clean grease. The hole that was in the boot was cut. Due to to the clean grease inside the boot it was a recent cut. Otherwise the grease would be dirty. I took the axle back to Conklin and the head mechanic looked it over and said that one of three joints inside the boot had a gap between the rollers bearings and this is a red flag. That a bearing was missing. He said if all three joints in the boot had the same gap that would be one thing, but what he saw was a red flag. I suggested he take things apart to be able to look at the rest of the joint. He refused and was satisfied with just examining the joint through the hole that had been cut. I was not satisfied and upon leaving he said they'd be in touch with a settlement. The next day got a call from the service rep who said he was not happy with how things turned out and had lost sleep over it so he went to his boss. They offered to find and fix the rattle for free since I'd already spent over 1,200 dollars. I said I'd like the axle situation taken care of first. He said OK I'll take this is to my superiors. Well I've not heard a thing and have not had any of my calls returned. I again took the axle to different mechanics and told them what Conklin said was wrong. Again they said other than the hole in the cv boot, nothing is wrong. Also, we put the car on a lift and discovered the skid plate that was suppose to be fixed was not. In fact it was still hanging down with bolts missing. I would rate Conklin with negative stars, I had to mark one star in order to submit this review. More

Never gave up on us after several visits! Everyone at Conklin was so patient with our family. We visited Conklin four times before we made a decision and they treated us so nice every time. Even after our purchase, and noticing some interior flaws of the vehicle they were happy to bring in another vehicle from another place and trade it out. We are not "easy to please" buyers and we feel the people at Conklin went above and beyond to get us in the right vehicle and at the right price. We've bought two vehicles from Conklin now and likely to continue doing business with them when the time comes. More
