Service on my vehicle began at the time of my appointment. Tires were also checked for need of rotation; it wasn't needed so they didn't do it. Always appreciate the car wash!! appointment. They are horrible and are liars. They don’t do what they say they are going to do. They will not call you back to follow up. They said it needed a battery and we took it where we had the battery warranty and they said nothing was wrong with the battery. This place sucks never take your car here they are a bunch of crooks. Veterans Beware - DO NOT BUY FROM HERE I have waited a long time to write this review. I wanted to give myself time to cool off before responding. But as time goes on, I find that the service we received long time to write this review. I wanted to give myself time to cool off before responding. But as time goes on, I find that the service we received from Conklin staff was reprehensible and I am not really going to get to a state where I am ok with it. I met with Conklin sales person over a year prior to purchase and told him of my intentions to buy two vehicles from Conklin. I explained to him what I was going to purchase and an approximate time frame of when that would occur. I explained to him in great detail that the CRV hybrid would be a present for my wife and she would not know about the gift. Since the vehicles didn't come at the same time (due to supply chain issues) it wouldn't be a surprise any more but, it would still be a gift for my wife. I kept the salesman well informed and reminded him that this was a gift for my wife. When we came to pick up the first vehicle (Ridgeline Black Edition) I inquired about the veteran’s discount and the loyalty discount, the sales manager and salesman BOTH said Conklin doesn't offer those. Maybe they do, maybe they don't but when I called Honda USA, they said they did. A couple of months later when we came to pick up the CRV Hybrid. The salesman became ruder when I inquired about the veteran’s discount and the loyalty discount again. In front of my wife (which this vehicle was a present for) he stated this is the price we have lots of people that want it. Either take it at the full price or I will sell it to someone else. There is a long line of people that will buy it. It was completely discourteous to say this in front of my wife, knowing full well this was a gift to her. It was the most disgusting exchange of words I have ever witnessed. Additionally, telling me that they would not offer me a veteran’s discount or a loyalty discount again after Honda USA said they should have and I paid the full unnegotiated price on the Ridgeline was completely inappropriate. After the sale the salesman came out to the vehicle to help us set up the amenities of which he knew NOTHING about, thus wasting more of our time. Conklin's disregards veterans and loyal customers. After purchasing several vehicles from Conklin’s, I will never buy another one. More
Mike the salesman was very patient and answered all of our questions. Mike was not pushy and wanted to make sure we made a purchase that would meet our needs and we would be happy with.
