We have been a customer of Conicelli for many years and this is another reason why Conicelli really is a NICE place to do business. Our oldest son has a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek that he drives from Thorndale into Philly (Jefferson Hospital) in the very early AM hours for work. He recently noticed a strange noise/vibration coming from what he thought was all four wheels, mostly when he would hit small bumps or potholes. He took the car into Christian Brothers Automotive (Downingtown) thinking they would give him an honest appraisal of what the problem was. After looking at the car they told him the front and rear Tie rods/CV axles needed fixing or replacing and that there was also a hole in his muffler. They said it would cost around $5000 to repair. Chris called me and asked for my advice. I immediately contacted Luis Rivera in the Conicelli Toyota Service Department. Luis is the Service Manager, however he had been our Service advisor for as long as we have been with Conicelli. Luis set up an appointment for us to come in. Wade Albright (Mechanic) put the Subaru up on a lift and checked things out. After Wade did his assessment, Luis allowed my son and I to come out into the shop so he and Wade could show us the issue. The strange noise from the bottom of the car was actually coming from one of the heat shields which had rusted away from the bolt that was holding it into place, and was therefore rattling whenever the car would hit a bump or pothole. The Tie rods/CV axles which Christian Brothers Automotive said needed replacing were fine … there was no oil or anything leaking from any of the four boots and the tie rods were also fine. The noise/vibration was coming from the heat shield which Wade said would be an easy fix. The issue with the muffler was rust that was starting to cause a small leak along one of the pipes, plus one of the ties or hooks that holds the pipes in place needed some fixing. Luis gave us options … replace the entire muffler assembly or do some repair work that required some welding. The second option would be less costly and would/could give us another 2-3 years before the muffler and pipes needed replacing. BOTTOM LINE … what would have been a $5000 repair bill at Christian Brothers Automotive turned out to be significantly less at Conicelli. And at Conicelli we had well-trained, highly qualified people doing the work. Conicelli really is a NICE and TRUSTWORTHY place to do business. We have been customers and will continue to be customers because we know we can TRUST Luis Rivera and his Team. In addition to Luis, who is the reason we continue to come back to Conicelli, our sincerest thanks and a shout out go to the following people: Wade Albright (Mechanic). There are certain people that when you meet them you know right away they are good people … that was the vibe we got from Wade. He went over the issues on the car; he and Luis talked about the various options we had; and they allowed us to make a choice. There was no pressure put on us. Thank you Wade! Bob Calhoun (Service Advisor). Bob was the guy who did all the paperwork for us when we arrived. Luis was busy out in the shop and Bob took care of everything. Bob was very respectful … plus we both have Navy in our blood and wristbands with Phil. 4:13 on them. Thank you Bob! Shawn Hefron (Service Advisor on Luis’ Team). Shawn didn’t have as much time with us however he was involved and we appreciated Shawn’s help. Thank you Shawn! My sincerest thanks and appreciation to Conicelli, and especially to Luis, Wade, Bob, and Shawn. Respectfully, Bob Powers More

Ultimately I went over to Honda to purchase a pre-owned car and feel better about that decision. Sam Brown, Chris Williams, & Reyan Echon; These are the 3 players of the shady car selling dream team. Please be aware of the possibility of being quoted one number on paper, the evidence of said being swept away to the finance department, pressure to choose financing terms even if you've done your own research, and swift movement to purchase car insurance and subsequently a car. When asked to provide the printed quote, I was lied to and the bait and switch technique was used. Sam Brown applied pressure to give a verbal agreement to check finance terms as I requested to calculate financing quotes based on my desired budget. We just wanted a quote. Reyan added on the extended warranty service (with a lot of slick talking) without my consent (as that's how they get paid for their commission) and made sure to shuffle paperwork to confuse the buyer. My husband and I were infuriated with the shady business practices as we were referred to Conicelli by a friend. Sam Brown is completely inept, rude, and hasty when asked questions outside of the realm of selling a new car. His knowledge for the fleet of cars is definitely his strength, sales, not so much. If you're set on purchasing a new car with extra, possibly unsolicited bells & whistles and you also have an unlimited budget for a con/scam to waste money, Sam Brown is your guy. If you don't mind being scammed quickly by a fast talking ill-equipped finance professional that would lie to make a sale, Reyan Echon is your guy. Reyan Echon should consider dusting the back of his computer as it is unattractive and facing prospective buyers. Chris Williams was honestly the better part of the experience and has a lot of clean up to do with the team. I feel bad that he’s in the mix with those two shady scamming individuals. Overall, I regret ever walking into Conicelli Toyota. Much rather purchase a car online. I can see why this industry is suffering tremendously. Not everyone should be working this profession. Conicelli, consider reviewing and training your employees. More
