You can easily look up my file and see every time I have had an issue at this dealership the list is long. And it is not the front guys at the service desks it seems to be the mechanics or lack there of qualified mechanics. to focus on the last issue. I went in there for routine maintenance, which also includes a multi point inspection. They found a few issues, which I allowed them to repair. When i left the shop much later than anticipated they did not even wash my vehicle. At that point it is what it is I wasn't going back in. Anyway they took my car for a test drive and on the multi point inspection sheet every was satisfactory. It was a hot day and i had my AC on when I came into the shop. It was not making any noises or anything abnormal. When I got in my car the AC was turned off. So I turned it back on as I was proceeding out of the dealership. I thought I heard something weird, but just thought it was due to the road conditions around. Once i got home only a few minutes away and in my driveway I continued hearing this louder almost grinding sound. I popped the hood and the ac compressor area seemed to be where the noise was coming from. I sent a video of it to the dealership for them to confirm it sounds like something with the compressor. Why did this pass multi point inspection? That inspection clearly says Heating/air conditioning system satisfactory. why did they have the air turned off? Did something happen while they were working on my vehicle? As I said drove in and there was no weird noise. Once again I will say the service front desk has been wonderful. They have already called me about this and are looking into it when I go in this week 6/3/2021. Now as far as what they say after we shall see. As I said this is only one of so many issues including replacing my short block due to recall for oil issues. Which turned into a long ordeal because once again the mechanics screwed up. All should be on my file I am sure. Especially since I contacted corporate at that time and dealt with Wendy Clough. I can say once I hit 100,000 miles it will be very hard to get me to come back this Subaru at all due to the lack of qualified mechanics. Let alone to buy a new car from Subaru since they do not appear to be a car to be passed down and driven for a long time. Guess that's just another sales pitch. So strange since I did every maintenance in the book to exact. Yet so many issues more than I have seen from any other car I have owned.
